Orgies? Watergate Hotel? Why does this make me think of John Dean?

Geez...it's just about sex. At least, unlike Clinton, they got a hotel room.

Shouldn't there also be a story looking into why the outraged Peter King ignored investigating and outing these 'orgies' until funds for his state were reduced? Why was he looking the other way until yesterday?

Homeland Security spokeswoman Tracy Henke told Gambling that New York City had received $568 million in federal security funding since 2003
For all I know, this is too much - but New York City has a proven history as a terrorist target, as does Washington, which also got it's funding cut. And why do Jacksonville and Omaha need increases in federal security funding? I doubt most members of Al-Qaeda are even aware that either city exists.
It's not surprising, but more than a little depressing, that Homeland Security is just the latest in a long list of pork-dispensing bureaucracies.

That's a pretty serious accusation there, Mr. King. If it's true, what are you doing using it as some sort of lever against the Administration? Roll the investigation, regardless of whether or not you can get someone to dance for you.

ROTFL... King is highly suspect, almost like a sideshow.
I loved the way he savaged Chrissy Matthews, the first time I noticied him.
Since then he has gone off the handle on the Dubai Port deal, and this. Like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off the handle.
Sideshow...

You would figure by this point in American history everyone around DC would know that if you're going to do something even vaguely questionable the one place you DON'T go is the Watergate, it's just begging to get caught and have things blown up into a huge scandal.

The large cities bully and blackmail the governments and take large sums of money they do not deserve and leave the little guys in the country to do without! Try to get your mail delivered in the country! Try to get a road fixed let alone paved.

This schmuck is about 30 years too late. He should have investigated the prostitutes being supplied to major DNC donors by the demonrats out of the Watergate Hotel. But then evidence of such demo hijinks discovered by the Watergate Burglars didn't even rate a sentence in the MSM news at the time, so why would it rate an investigation?

No amount of money can stop terrorism. A hundred jihadists can fill their trucks full of gas and go ram them into populated buildings and kill thousands and there ain't a dang thing you can do to stop them.
We are still importing Muslims to this country and then shouting we need more money to prevent our imported people from terrorizing us. How strange it is.

Go for it. It obviously needs "probing."

he'll launch an investigation into what he called "orgies" involving CIA agents at the Watergate hotel. It's just about sex, move on.

The New York Republican continued to fume: "They could find $21 million to give to a company owned by a criminal which drives around pimps and prostitutes, ... Wait! I though he was driving bureaucrats and congressmen. Never mind.

In addition to being an "moderate" squish who votes with the RATs about 1/3rd of the time and a IRA sympatherizer (I noticed how all the people demanding proof of "what terrorist organizations does he support" were strangely silent once it was provided to them), King's legacy is also being the biggest Clinton @$$ kisser on the GOP side during impeachment.
Peter King is a shameless media whore who loves WHOEVER is on top at that given moment in history. When Clinton's approval ratings were UP, UP, UP, he loved Clinton and defended him tooth and nail. When Bush's approval ratings were UP, UP, UP, he loved Bush and defended him tooth and nail. Not suprisely, now that Bush bashing is in vogue, this guy is more than happy to get his name in the news by crying corruption without any evidence.
When I was a lurker on this board back in '99, King was the number one RINO traitor that freepers were eager to run out of town on a rail. Amazingly, when King took advantage of Bush's post 9-11 skyhigh popularity to be a pro-Bush talking head on MSNBC, many freepers "reinvented" King's true nature to portray him as some kind of conservative patriotic hero in liberal New York.
Now King's true colors are showing again. It is never about Bush, it's about Peter King getting his name on TV. Peter King loves Peter King and that's about it. Also, as the last of the original four Long Island GOP congressman, he represents one of the "safer" reliably GOP districts in a Dem state. As such, there is NO EXCUSE for King backstabbing the GOP whenever it's convient for him to do so.
I don't care if he's right on abortion and immigration, there are plenty of "R's" who could win that district who would vote the same way without being Clinton cheerleaders, IRA fan club members, and loud mouth MSNBC pundits. The Barney Frank sound-alike is ripe for a viable primary challenger, and it's about eight years overdue.
