Factory, a plastics plant, all insurance payed, 401 k, no union BS, no layoffs plenty of OT, only work 15 days a month, 10.10 an hour to start.

TY, I hope so, I am an excellent employee, I am never sick, never call off, in fact I got called in this AM. I told them about working 22 days in a row, 12 hour shifts, over night. I loved that check! :) I hope that counts, plus I don't want to brag, but I am 5 feet tall and I can pick up 50 pounds and move it, do it everyday at least 10 times a day. Plus I don't mind heat. I want this job! If I get it, I am going to go back to school just so this never happens again. Just to have it.

Oh yeah! I just have had bad luck. I worked for GTE and was this close to getting permanent employment and then the merger happened. Coming out of high school had a job at a steel mill guaranteed, closed my senior year. That was the way out for kids like me, the mills, work there and go to college then law school. Always a day late and a dollar short! The fact that I have supported myself for the last 22 years is nothing short of a miracle. I could go on and on with near misses.

Senator Allen was on Hannity's radio show today. I joined late but it sounded like he was reporting in from Iraq. He said the Marines in Haditha are deserving of due process and he explained his "NO" vote on CIRA.

Well...you have the right work ethic, and the right attitude...now all you need is the right job, at the right time...

If I get this job, I am going to go back to school and get a practical fall back, just in case. I will work the job until retirement if I get it. But I am thinking if I am working in industry I should work towards something engineering, or maybe I will finally bite the bullet and go to law school.
