Today the President Attended the Change of Command Ceremony for the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard
Later today the President will welcome British Prime Minister Tony Blair to the White House. Today's dose will also be a live thread of their Press Conference.
Yesterday the Vice President attended a joint session of Congress for an address by Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
Yesterday Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei at the State Department
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
This is new. The President says his biggest mistakes were language (wanted dead or alive, bring it on) which were misinterpreted. Has learned to use more sophisticated language. Also Abu Ghraib, which we are still paying for.
but he sure beats chrissy...
Bush - Saying, "Bring it on" and other straight talk like that because it was misinterpreted in some parts of the world. Something else I missed.
Blair - The handling of the de-Baathification, underestimating the determination of the anti-democratic forces.
Good catch; I'll do that!
Kristol irritates me but for some reason dad likes him
Just my two cents, but if this was Tony's last visit as PM, he would be staying longer. Comments?
Ok do you see the pencil in Tony's hand ? LOL
I'm not a big fan of his. He can be really aggravating.
Oh, good idea. Their advertisers can't be pleased.
Poor Tony is starting to lose his voice!!
President Bush: Mr. Prime Minister, can I buy you dinner.
It's over.
A little late in joining the party--what did the British reporterette mean earlier when she said this might be the last time Blair visits the US in his capacity as PM? Is he planning to resign?
Presser over. I'm surprised the press corps stayed focused mostly on Iraq.
(BTW I also read that she once had a dog named Marty....short for martini. LOL)
I love it!
Granted, mostly I want to choke BOR, but when he's on a bad judge, he's very good! :0
ANYONE beats Chrissy. Ugh...what a stupid little creep.
Excellent Presser!!
I certainly wish people in Congress would fight for our side in defending the war and the president as hard as freeper fight.
"Silence gives consent" - I might use that in my letter.
Not necessarily IMHO
