Today the President Attended the Change of Command Ceremony for the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard
Later today the President will welcome British Prime Minister Tony Blair to the White House. Today's dose will also be a live thread of their Press Conference.
Yesterday the Vice President attended a joint session of Congress for an address by Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
Yesterday Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei at the State Department

This is new. The President says his biggest mistakes were language (wanted dead or alive, bring it on) which were misinterpreted. Has learned to use more sophisticated language. Also Abu Ghraib, which we are still paying for.

Next question - What missteps/mistakes do you most regret?
Bush - Saying, "Bring it on" and other straight talk like that because it was misinterpreted in some parts of the world. Something else I missed.
Blair - The handling of the de-Baathification, underestimating the determination of the anti-democratic forces.

I finally got my copy of Laura Bush's biography from Amazon today and read that it was she who cautioned Bush about 'Bring it on'.
(BTW I also read that she once had a dog named Marty....short for martini. LOL)
