Bush - Once again, it's up to the commanders on the ground. Once again, there's no civilian leadership of the Iraqi army (in the form of a defense minister), and the PM will have to appoint one soon.

Blair - The anti-democratic forces will be testing the Iraqi forces the next few months, but the Iraqis will respond.

Back to Bush - A loss in Iraq will make it a very dangerous place. Not only is there sectarian violence, but there's an Al Qaeda presence.
