"Bush is on fire tonight,"
Yes he is . . . I love it!!
Wow, I recently got home from work and turned the press conference on. I'm riveted (& I HATE political speeches, generally). Bush sounds articulate and passionate, as does Blair.
Blair: If the mindset in the Arab mind gets planted that freedom is something to aspire to, where do the terrorists go? These people fighting there know what is at stake. The question is, do we?
I literally saw red when I read that ABC piece of trash talk. It revealed the mindset of the writers imo....pure slime.
Bush .. I must say that was a great answer
These two guys are so together, so on the same page! Wow!
Adam Boulton
? You've been saying as Iraqi forces stand up, we'll stand down. But there hasn't been a substantial decrease in attacks and what does it tell us about drawdown.
President: It tells you that the commanders in the field will make that recommendation when conditions on the ground are ready. I haven't changed my opinion. I know you get bored hearing it. They feel strongly the Iraqi forces and situation is getting better.
"These people fighting there know what is at stake. The question is, do we?"
TONY'S ON FIRE TOO!!
I told you it would be better here! ;-)
This last question President Bush is thinking "hey you are an idiot!"
That chick was from ABC News......... (spit)
Every person in America and the UK should be listening to this!
Carolinamom - does it do any good for us to freep ABC or does the attention make them happy? I just can't get over them saying crap like that. My husband didn't talk for 1.5 hours because the steam was coming out of his ears.
I think we will keep forces in Iraq as long as the nut-ball is in charge of Iran.
Yep!!

I suspect that ABC would like to find some homoeroticism between Bush and Blair because it makes the folks at ABC feel normal and accepted in their own sexual choices.
Oh yes, you were so right on! Very pleasant! Thank You!
He brought real tears to my eyes with his answer to that reporter that ended with his praise of Blair's support. He's in such command, as you say, and when he's in this mode the reporters can only look stunned, like they've been hit by a two-by-four between the eyes. Which ain't a bad idea either.
That was THE perfect question from Tony.
