“Well, Doctor, what have we got a Republic or a Monarchy?”

“A Republic, if you can keep it.”

Ben Franklin

South Korea needs to be on there own. We sure as hell didn't keep France around after we won our Independence. We saved South Korea twice and they give us nothing but anti US marches.

If they lose there freedom then that is there problem. They have never been reliable aliies even though we shed some serious blood for them.

I think the south (our eternal friends) don't seem to be all that friendly to us and the USA sees in the future they reuniting with the North no matter what.

So I think this is the attempt to fix this now before things go south in the future during unification.

The strategy behind this may be interesting.... no guesses, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I suspect there is something going on behind the scenes with Russia and the Chi-Coms to break this deadlock. Maybe get them on board with the UN for now... worry about NK later.

Yeah, whatever. Get in line behind Algore and the other end-of-the-world freaks. You're the flipside of doom&gloomers on the left. You don't get what you want so you cry END OF THE WORLD, END OF THE WORLD.

I've never seen so many conservatives acting like a bunch of flippin' geriatric diaper-dumpers!

Unless the Pentagon and State Department have made great leaps on psychology, you can't reason with a madman (or "Dear" leader or whatever he calls himself).

"Peace Talks" are related to Bush's approval rating. 35% - Start peace talks with Mexico 30% - Start peace talks with North Korea 25% - Start peace talks with Iran

20% - Start peace talks with the treasonous MSM.

15% - Start peace talks with the Demagogic Party

There, that would cover most of the bad actors in the world......... :^)

If we wanted this approach with North Korea we would have elected John Kerry.

Technically, we are still at war with them.
In that case, let's defeat them.

What a novel concept, eh?
