That bill is miles away from what comes out of Congress. It has to get redone in Committee or don't you know how bills work. Oh that's right you would rather have the emotion of the Senate bill just got signed into law. What a maroon.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Nice little whinebaby, you are the one calling him "ears" and "little bush" which are so similar to chimp and shrub that you have to wonder where you really hang out. Then you come on with this little song and dance? Pathetic!
Pray for W and Our Troops
Even a high school drum major knows it's a damn sight harder to lead a parade than to follow and bitch about the marching.
I keep going back to "The Conservative Rout" by Russell Kirk (Later renamed "Conservative Mind."
Kirk claims that conservatism will always lose because progressivism -is- activism and the very nature of a true conservative will tend to eat his own, and/or be steam-rolled by the activist/progressivists.
It's a dull historical read, but really nails the mechanics of the political times we're living.
Meanwhile, we're getting pilloried on this thread by the likes of the WoW folks who claim that -WE'RE- the mindless fools!
FReegards!
Once again, do you see Bush saying he will veto any bill with amnesty provisions?
You don't. If Bush had said that, the Senate Bill would look very different today.
I don't believe I was mischaracterizing anything.
Your previous vanity thread is here:
Some of your quotes from that thread are here:
"I decided to end my self-imposed exile from posting due to information that I received this past weekend from a little birdie in Washington, which I subsequently had confirmed by another insider if you can call him that.
Information was shared with me on Saturday, which described in no uncertain terms that Harriet Miers stands as the only nominee on Bushs list which has any chance of confirmation by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
But the thing to remember, is that it was not Bushs weakness, but our own, and that of the people we have elected to Congress that made this happen. Had they been strong, Bush could have selected anyone we wanted.
True, you never called anyone ignorant. That's the impression I took from your assertion that we voters were to blame for Bush's lousy pick.
And, I am relaxed.
So, in other words, you are acting just like the Dems did during Clinton's impeachment - you are so busy counterattacking that you cannot be bothered to stop and think about whether Bush's stance on this is wrong.
President's getting harder and harder to justify an oath of fealty, isn't he? My sympathies.
True enough. However, if he had come out and said any bill with an amnesty would be vetoed, I doubt we would see amnesty in the Senate bill.
You're not worth the ping.
South Basher and Open Border troll one in the same.
I called Perot "ears"?
Are you on drugs?
The best self-zot EVER is in post 915.
Don't either of you play dumb. I said you kept bad company here. Company that is gleeful over things that aggravate me presonally. I did make the claim that either of YOU said something in particular.
I stand by that. You wish to draw conclusions beyond that thenyou are both just surmising.
No one said either of you danced on Matt's banning but you high five with fellow FReepers who do....a month later even....some of them just can't resist the impulse.
Talk of lists to be banned, and personal banning warnings on open thread like they think they run the damned place.
It's all silly is quite right.
But this issue is anything but silly.
You most certainly did ping me first on this thread. I never challenge you for the heck of it ...believe me.

Trust me, LIEberman is not "decent" in any way, shape, manner, or form, with the one exception of his sort of support of the WOT.

"Raise you a Durbin and an Obama, and call... Never mind, we've packed our bags for Ohio."
Where you'll have a DeWine and a Voinovich! LOL!
"Only after sufficient land grants. I don't come cheap."
Neither do the "rabble".
"They told us he was "annointed" remember?"
Thanks I had forgot about that mantra, "annointed" used by the insane one at DU, Koz and of course the Walk on Water Uber Conservatives on FR.
I always thought of him as one of the very best posters on FR and also one of the most illustrious.
Not certain I want to stay on a site which would ban him.
well...folks could at least resist celebrating it?
From reading the first and last pages of this particular one, they clearly know they are the ones in power here and know they can insult, attack, etc. with impunity.
I have been on FR for many years but I think this may be my last post, I am literally fed up with it.
