No.

I would prefer to see a law that any alien here illegally be denied citizenship.

Sometimes it looks like the Republicans are
more effective as the minority.
If I may use that word in the same sentence with
Republicans.

Well, let's see what the Senate passes then.

We obviously disagree. Did you know that the President could issue Presdential pardons to said parents, and there would be nothing you could do?

Over 6 million illegal aliens have been expelled from the U.S. since Bush took office - how many more would be enough for you?

Not true and you know it.

"Expelled" includes everything from formal deportations to voluntarily departures. So, yes, it is true.

I am not allowed to use the "l" word, but "expelled" does NOT mean voluntary deprtures, and you know that, too. Thus you are posting something you know to be untrue. We all know what they call people who purposely post things known by the poster to be untrue. Stop using that false statistic. However, I will add this to your "law abiding illegals post" to let the world know that you hate the USA so much that you actually bastardize THE VERY LANGUAGE WE USE. Knock it off.

ex·pel Audio pronunciation of "expelled" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (k-spl) tr.v. ex·pelled, ex·pel·ling, ex·pels 1. To force or drive out: expel an invader. 2. To discharge from or as if from a receptacle: expelled a sigh of relief. 3. To force to leave; deprive of membership: expelled the student from college for cheating. See Synonyms at eject.

I would deport them in a hot second. If their kids are such hot shots, let them go back to Mexico and work their wonders there. I'm sure Mexico needs them a lot more than we do. I won't even go into the fact that they aren't legal, either.

clawrence3 is known to be less than honest in his dealings on these threads (he was recently banned for a while).

See this post where he actually uses the term "law abiding illegals" and this post (above) where he on purpose tries to include voluntary leaving with expulsions.

Pretty pointless, overall.

I'm just reporting the government statistics as they are set forth - ICE actually uses the word "expelled" - I could care less if you think they are lying.

Are you saying ICE is saying they expelled 6 million illegals? Show me.

As I said, we disagree then. They are "legal" under all current applicable U.S. law - go change the Constitution if you want. I'd much rather keep the doctor, West Point cadet (I think Bush is going to speak at commencement this month), and the high school valedictorian, and the parents of such successful offspring. You heard the saying about fruit not falling far from the tree?

Reid blocked all amendments except the one's he liked the last time.

I have all but come to the conclusion that the Senate's rules are fundamentally at odds with democracy. When one Senator (1!!) can stall virtually any bill at any time, that is not democracy. It is tyranny of the minority.

I've posted the link about 50 times - maybe Spiff can help you - here's the same figure from the White House web site:

"Since President Bush took office, agents have apprehended and sent home more than 6 million people entering the country illegally - including more than 400,000 with criminal records. Federal, State, local, and tribal law enforcement are working together. More than 600,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended through the Arizona Border Control Initiative last year - an increase of more than 50 percent over the previous year. The men and women of our Border Patrol have made good progress - but we have much more work ahead, and we will not be satisfied until our agents have full control of our border."
