It all gets curiouser and curiouser. The timing couldn't be worse. It overshadows everything else, including the good economic news. We also the the specter of Congressional hearings to confirm the new nominee. Abu Garib, Gitmo, NSA wire taps, etc.

His #3, who he personally brought into the Agency over the objections of some, is alleged to be very involved. That may be enough to be the cause of this.
Have I said anywhere that Porter Goss was trading defense contracts for hookers? No, I haven't. In fact, I noted that he has denied the allegations.
I'm guessing there is more than a little glass in your house on this one...

Chris Wallace on FNC .. says that he just got of the phone with someone in the WH That this resignation of Goss is part of the WH shakeup .. that Goss was put in the CIA to shake and clean things up at the CIA .. that now that he's done his job .. it's time to have someone else take over
Whew.
I still think a whole lot of shaking should be going on at the CIA.
MacRanger says his sources say so. Says it is going to be one thrilling summer. I certainly hope he is right!
