Maybe Stephen Colbert is joining the staff as the new foreign policy speech writer.. or not. ;-) Colbert wants DHS, and, besides, he's agreed to be on Mike Huckabee's presidential ticket in '08.

Huge announcement, and the first person Fox News turns to for analysis is that sleazy lying a-hole of a spin doctor Bob Beckel?
More proof of how clueless liberals are when they whine that Fox News is a Republican mouthpiece.

PORTER GOSS RESIGNS AS CIA CHIEF, A SENIOR BUSH ADMINISTRATOR SAYS
Is it me, or does it seem odd that a lot of WH personnel are resigning lately? I wonder what it means, if anything?

What is up with all the conspiracy, maybe it was just family or personal issues or he was offered a better job elsewhere?

I wonder if it has anything to do with all the leaks?
I also have to wonder about who's gonna be the replacement?

"Good, too many leaks, too many lib dems working there"
Sure, but the $30 billion question is whether any more will be done about that with a new Director. I'd thought/hoped that Goss was supposed to be cleaning house behind the scenes, but I can't imagine that he's anywhere near the end of that task, if he was even as devoted to it as many of us hoped. Now the appointment of a new Director does give Pres. Bush the chance to shake things up in a good way, but I'm not at all optimistic that we can count on that happening. Did the CIA mafia force Goss out, or did he just wear out in a grueling and thankless job, or what???? Sure would like to know what this really means!!

Grrrr. Snow has done a GOOD JOB (see Don Luskin column on him). Rumsfeld has done a GOOD JOB. It would be a travesty to get rid of either of them.
Here's what we need:
- Norm Minetta out. Gordon Gekko in.
- Meg Spellings out. Bill Bennett in.
- Tom Tancredo heading up INS enforcement division.
(oops, hijack alert!)
etc.

Resigning or asked to leave? I'd like to know the real dirt. Then again, maybe not!

Actually, they just make more news under President Bush. Compared to previous recent administrations, this has been a pretty stable administration staff wise.
