I've never posted a new thread before and was going to put this with Santa Ana but now there are details so I think it needs it's own thread.
Reports for help from all police to respond to Vista, California for unrest related to the immigration protests.
I'd been hearing sirens racing north on 15 for over the last 50 minutes and was trying to find out what was going on, as after hearing and seeing groups of 2-6 patrol cars racing up the freeway sirens wailing every 4-8 minutes made it apparent something was going on.
I knew they would down play it. Can't alarm the CITZENRY.
thanks for pinging me ;)
I was just logging off for the night but I have this habit of checking breaking news first

They march today and vote tomorrow. Remember that.
I'll pay any one here 50 bucks an hour to do the rioting that you won't do, sign up here my friend
Senator Lettuce
Go Elliot ;)
Hundreds! Damn them all and no police office had better get hurt.
Canine and SWAT on the scene. EXCELLENT!
Fox6 reporting live on the phone and showing video from 1 hour ago. Hundreds of police, all in riot gear, canine units, some bottles thrown at police.
Police have given order to disperse and said they will start arresting those who do not. Crowd's in the hundreds.
Thanks for the update. Every time I turned over to Fox 6, I miss it. Went outside and it is eerily quiet, but I'm not that close to the 15.
OK starting my daily for today ;)
I was in downtown LA Friday-Sunday in the garment district and one of the shopkeepers I've gotten to know was concerned that I might be in the area again today.
Most of the shop owners of the textile places are Persian, but most have largely Hispanic guys working for them. This guy, Judah, is always looking out for me and whomever is with me when I'm buying fabric, as do several others since I've been up there a fair bit.
Yesterday Judah told us that even if we were staying in the area another day we needed to go no where near downtown. He said it's stupid that the protests are going to happen but that he was extremely concerned that it was going to get very violent.
He is also an immigrant (legal) and said he won't even leave the house and go to any of his shops (he owns four) and that he could open and have others trying to help guard, but that if he did, the workers had told their boss/owner guys that they would pay for it. Apparently the threat was when customers paid for like 10 yards they would give them 3-4 times that to screw their boss over for not supporting them, and that they were also concerned about physical safety if they didn't close.
He was the first to mention it yesterday, but later on several others did as well. It sounds as though basically everyone in the fashion district/Staples Center area was planning to close.
Two simple, hard hitting words which cut through the PC verbage. ILLEGAL ALIENS
Actually, most people I know found it refreshing.
Now, realizing that, realizing that the MILLIONS they promised didn't show up to march, that it was business as usual without them, and realizing that most AMERICANS wish they would just GO AWAY, p'raps they're a might frustrated? No?
Bigger group going north again.
Just an observation... There have been massive protests and other forms of "disobedience" in almost all Western countries that have allowed near-unchecked legal and illegal immigration. France, Britain, Norway, okay all the former Western Europe, Australia, America and others. I foresee that only Japan will remain immune from the scourge of third world immigration. They are opting for increasing robot technologies. Sheesh, they got their shit together. Also, I gotta think China is watching this closely as they forge closer ties with Bolivia, Venezuela and Cuba....
Yeah, and they'll vote democrat.
why do so many, when they march, wear the bannanas :0 over their faces? If their cause is so near and dear, why cover up? Be proud, uncover your faces.
Wow...ANOTHER pack right after that last one...this was like maybe 2 minutes later! The biggest two in awhile and definitely the closest together I've seen thus far.
I agree.
