May Day: El Gran Boicotposted at 1:58 am on May 1, 2006 by Allahpundit Send to a Friend | printer-friendly It’s moonbat Christmas, the perfect day for millions of illegals to take to the streets, bring their best friend — American business — to its knees, and do their level best to alienate most of the rest of us. Unsurprisingly, the Times and WaPo both report a split among immigration advocates over the wisdom of staging a boycott while legislation is pending in Congress — not to mention doing it on May Day. WaPo: Carlos Castro, a leader in two local business groups and owner of the Todos Supermarkets in Northern Virginia, said he was wary of some advocates’ attempts to link immigrants’ rights with leftist causes. “They want to create instability in the community,” he said. “It is kind of scary, because I lived through the metamorphosis of the Civil War [in El Salvador], and I know leadership and I know instigators. I want to make sure that we get the leaders of the Hispanic community out front. I’m not accusing anyone, but that’s certainly how it looks..... (Continues)

If Queers for Peace is involved, no doubt the ACLU is. It's just a matter of how much nationwide presence they have.

And don't forget the American Federation of County, State Muncipal Employees (AFSCME). They are `licking their lips' over the prospect of millions of dues-paying new members.

:) that was the connection I made too. I think we should make that "connection" official.. :). The ACLU has alway been - somehow - on the side that benefits queers..:)... Always? hmm maybe not, but it seems like a lot.

A hijacking of the numbers the leftists can't produce with their anti-war and anti-capitalism rallies in now underway. They will call it "populist support" for their causes.

Yet that sort of thinking is not applied to the question of abortion. How odd.

Exactly!... The Lefties saw the "marches in mass" -- which is what they have been wanting all along (i.e. Mother Seahan, they thought would be the engine for it..)-- and they saw the opportunity. It's not difficult to see. The president is *FOR* Amnesty... but the base and many others are *AGAINST* it. EASY: Support the ILLEGALS, Splinter the party some more...and at the end, the Rats/lefties, may get to go home with a lot of appreciative voters for their trouble... :)

Don't forget:

Oh, I didn't forget. ;)

There were over one-hundred groups involved in today's activities. I just thought that I'd highlight the many that have the word 'Communist' in them, so that there can be no confusion as to who is supporting these boycotts on, coincidentally, International Workers' Day.

I seem to recall Jesus saying something about His kingdom not being of this world and that one should seek it first. Doubtless much "What Would Jesus Do?" going on in those circles, instead of the more realistic and biblically-based, "What Would Jesus Have Me to Do?"
