This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!

MSM beating up POTUS and the GOP 24/7 has a little something to do with our current state of affairs.
Everything is a mess right now, but events happen and the landscape changes seemingly overnight.

Maybe we should start a thread for Mexican recipes to cook at home instead of going to a restaurants that closed today? If people get a craving for Mexican food they can just eat at home instead.Ping to posts 75, 99, 100 and 493 ... looks like we've got quite a start already :)

Here's the email I just sent to Macaroni Grill:
I was very disappointed tonight (May 1, 2006) when we attempted to go to your restaurant in Oceanside at 6:30 pm for another nice dinner and was told that you had already closed for the evening, and we needed to go elsewhere. My entire family has decided that we WILL go elsewhere for dinner, and not just for tonight. Either your restaurant decided that it was more imporant to show support for illegal immigration than to provide service to their customers, or they hire so many illegal workers that they were unable to operate their restaurant. Either way, it apparently is not an establishment that we wish to support any more, which is sad, since I really enjoy your Mama's Trio and your Sangria.
