.... The Shadow Party

Journalists first started using the term "shadow party" in 2003 to describe the network of leftwing NGOs, activist Web sites, Section 527 "stealth PACs," public employee unions and radical foundations which Democrat activists used to circumvent McCain-Feingold in the 2004 campaign. Working independently of the Democratic Party, these private groups managed to raise a record $300 million in political contributions for Democrats running in 2004.

The Shadow Party has gotten a fair amount of press. However, most reporters failed to describe it accurately. They characterized the Shadow Party as a loose network of private groups that arose more or less spontaneously from grassroots America. Nothing could have been further from the truth.

The Shadow Party is a top-down creation. George Soros founded it, organized it and runs it to this day, through a tightly-integrated, corporate-style command structure. Soros fulfills a role in the Shadow Party comparable to that of chairman of the board, while former Clinton deputy chief of staff Harold Ickes serves as de facto CEO.

It took years of patient sleuthing to penetrate the Shadow Party’s secrets — a research effort led by conservative activist David Horowitz, who heads the Center for the Study of Popular Culture (CSPC) in Los Angeles. Much of this research can now be found at DiscovertheNetwork.org — a searchable, online database of the organized left which Horowitz launched in February 2005.

DiscovertheNetwork.org illuminates the intricate personal and financial relationships binding leftwing organizations together. While compiling this database, Horowitz and his team uncovered the hidden command structure that drives Soros’ Shadow Party.

As one of the researchers on that team, I worked with Horowitz to follow the money trail and identify the specific levers of control by which Soros steers his Shadow Party. Horowitz and I co-wrote a three-part exposé published on the CSPC Web site FrontPageMagazine.com in October 2004. In it, we revealed that Soros administers his network through a core group of seven non-profit organizations, which we named the Seven Sisters. They are, in alphabetical order: America Coming Together; America Votes; Center for American Progress; Joint Victory Campaign 2004; The Media Fund; MoveOn.org; and the Thunder Road Group.

Through these Seven Sisters, Soros and his team convey money, information and marching orders down the line to a much larger network encompassing radical public employee unions, leftwing foundations and street-level activist groups.

[ Not exactly, Ockhams Occam's Razor demands the simplest explanation is generally the correct answer. In this case, I believe the simplest is that there is a lot of bitter people doing what they can do undercut the President. A 'Shadow Government' is not even close to a simple explanation. Not saying it isn't true, but it is a little 'far fetched'. ]

So THEN, you do not believe that Bush is PART of the shadow givernment?... Clue: If there was a shadow givernment BUSH would HAVE to part of it.. Thats HOW he became President..

Another clue; Importing massive quantites of proto democrats as illegal and legal aliens is the ONLY thing the democrats and Bush agree on.. well there are few other minor things like increasing BIG GIVERMENT.. Why? would a republican President be FOR (importing) multi millions of NEW DEMOCRATS.. Why?.. A pregnant question.. i.e. because the shadow givernment WANTS THAT TO HAPPEN..

Publishing these "secrets" in the U.S. media IS tantamount to passing them to Al Qaeda--don't think they aren't paying attention to our press.

So true--sadly. Why should our enemies buy the cow, when they can get the milk for free?

This truck driver is dead on. No body REALLY cares about the price gasoline; you can tell by their behavior. They all complain but the traffic is out of control. I hope it goes to five dollars if it means all these people park it.

If Bush is a part of a 'shadow government' then it isn't shadow. He became President because he was elected President.

Actually, most of these are myths. increasing 'big' government for example. First, the rate of spending in relation to the GDP is a steady trend and hasn't seen a spike since President Bush was elected. The rate of spending not going down can be blamed on congress. They are very bad about attaching pork to necessary bills. If the President killed the pork, he would also kill necessary bills. Blame the lack of line item veto and typical politics for that.

As for immigration, this isn't a party line issue. You'll find many on the Right and Left agreeing with the President and many on the Right and Left disagreeing with the President, all (Right and Left) using the same reasoning.

Really. same goes for alcohol gasoline. Carefully (I'm also about to prove Darwinism LOL) get a cup of alcohol and a cup of gasoline. Set both afire OUTSIDE. tell me which burns hotter. and what is an internal combustion engine but a fire place?

Clue: the shadow givernments agenda would be separate from both partys.. in different degrees.. at different times..

In effect both partys are shills.. It would be in the shadow givernments interest to remain secret and make the "partys" seem vital and relevant.. In effect to polarize the masses.. So that when one party was in jeopardy that shill party should strenghened.. to keep the faux party fighting strong.. further hiding the shadow givernment..

Do I have PROOF.?.. Kinda.. How could a known moron(Al Gore)2000 and a known traitor(John Kerry)2004 get nominated as candidates against son of "read my lips, no new taxes".. with NO LAUGHTER... A shadow giverment..
