Just breaking on Fox...
No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....
Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
Nice chunk 'o change, right before the election.
Supposedly he's a Landscape Architect. NOW I remember where Landscape Architect came up....it was the neighbor of Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson and he said he didn't know she worked at the CIA.....was it McCarthy???
WHOA! Anybody else recall this?
Suzy, you could very well be right!
Clinton DID turn his political appointments into Civil "servants" so Bush couldbn't fire them! What memories Freepers have!
ping
Do they live in Bethesda? Thought they were right in DC.
("I am a whistleblower" and was "fired for disclosing information about this Administration's illegal activities.")
Since when, can you qualify as a whistleblower when it took a lie detector to find the truth and confess afterwards?
Whistleblower defense won't work for this traitor.
Okay, I've got a house full of company -- can you connect the dots for me?
......I wonder if the 'freeing up' of 1 Karl Rove may be related to this event?.....
Rove has done his job, handed it off to DOJ and is going about frying other fish.
ROFL!!!!! Keith Olbermann -- just said, "a strident reaction to a leak !!!!!!" For laughs, even though we cannot STAND HIM, it'll be almost funny to hear this .. tune in now.
Mary McChristmas!!
WHOA! GOOD find.
In the testimonial link, I see the Fingerhut's are listed.
Huge democrat family.
It's some kind of Christmas right now, I'll say that.... though not exactly the FITZmas that the dirty 'Rats have been hoping for. Mary McCarthy is no small fry junior analyst, she has served at a very high level in the NSC as "National Intelligence Director" (probably directly under Sandy Burglar) and we have already seen that she has worked closely with the unctuous fraud Richard Clarke and also Rand Beers. Most recently she has been rather high up in the CIA's IG office, which means she has been one of a handful of the most trusted intel officials in this country. She has betrayed the CIA and her country and should get everything that's coming to her. I would not be averse to a little bit of a plea-bargain (only if necessary to really get at the other bad actors) if she truly spills her guts, but she still must serve serious time and she must spew out every 'Rat and media contact that has had anything to do with this disgraceful campaign against the elected government of the USA.
I called him- he said he'd taken 10 minutes just sitting there at the rest stop thinking about this- he was so furious he had to calm down. He said "thanks to onyx" and he's settled down- now he's just excited and wants to read up on it all!
He's got about another hour before he gets home. I';; see him tomorrow.
The office that is suppose to do the investigating?
Why does that ring a bell for me?
Would that be the office that recommended that Fitz investigate the Joe Wilson thing?
It wouldn't surprise me.
No connection there to Ohio...........making it curiouser and curiouser......
I don;t know.
I am still reading everyone's information.
FReepers are the best!
THEE BEST!
Mark for later.
Tell him onyx loves him and says he will make an excellent FReeper!
WOO-HOO!
