Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
I'd sure like to see the list of polygraph questions and answers.
NSA officials have helpfully explained that what they mean by "operational files" is the "nuts and bolts" technical documentation of signals intelligence collection. They indicated that this means material that "documents the conduct of signals intelligence" such as "SIGINT analyst notes and technical targeting information."
Such records are not distributed evenly or randomly throughout the agency. Rather, they are concentrated almost exclusively in the NSA Signals Intelligence Directorate.

I been thinking the whole time I been reading this thread that this was some kind of sting operation.
Goss was told to go after leakers and think about it, what better way to get them then to set up some sort of top secret thing that's a total lie.
Then boom, once it gets out, drop the hammer, check the phone calls, etc. It's probably why on this same day that the CIA traitor quit someone poobah in Europe made the big announcement about there being no secret prisons.
Because once the leaker is caught dead to wrong, have to get the original lie corrected.
Only on immigration and expanding government.

I've often wondered the same thing myself. If I'm unsure, I usually look at the date the person joined. If he or she has been here a while, I assume the person isn't a troll and that he or she was using sarcasm.
And many here say there is no difference between the 2 parties. Whatta laugh.
Oh, please please please let the reporter to whom the CIA person leaked (or was going to leak) the classified information be someone we all know, and know to be a Lefty. Oh, please please please.
