I know it is very frustrating. What a day the Dow had yesterday. I did not watch the news last night, I wonder if they were talking about it at all? I bet our local rag of a newspaper will not have anything about the Dow in today’s paper. Instead they will have some made up story just like yesterday. The headline was about the "No child left behind". Of course they made it look like it was all Bush's idea and bla bla bla. I had too much coffee this morning!

"Carter was awful."

Yes he was, unfortunately most of my life was been spent under terrible presidents. Truman, Nixon, LBJ, Charter, Clinton and now W. Oh well.

Reagan was a man of integrity, and W is not.

I would love for you to supply even one action or statement by Bush evidencing a lack of integrity on his part.

Yes, if FDR had followed the examples of "lesser" men he would have been a failure of a president. But he got a third shot at greatness, and even a sliver of a fourth shot.

No self-respecting historian would try to determine how Bush will look in history while he is still in office. But then there are few true historians left--they are all Marxists and cultural anthropologists/sociologists now.

LMAO!
Rolling Stone has been utterly irrelevant since 1980.

All that edumacation, and all his writings look bland and uninspired (to judge, perhaps unfairly, from their subject matter and titles). Have all great ideas already been thought? Or have our philosophers simply forgotten how to have them?

By the way, is that fat little homosexual nerd who started Rolling Stone still alive? Anybody know? Had a girl's name. "Jan" I think.

The worst president in history is Jimmy Carter. Was it not for his weakness during the Iranian Revolution, we would not have much of the terrorism, nor the present Iranian regime to deal with today.

How much more blood will be spilled thanks to him is yet to be determined.

Regards, Ivan

"I would love for you to supply even one action or statement by Bush evidencing a lack of integrity on his part."

When he tells the public that he is doing everything to protect them from terrorists and leaves the borders wide open to millions of 'unknowns' to enter our country.

This homo rag has zero credability except in San Francisco among its constituents.

One of the biggest reasons people flocked to Reagan was that he was not an east coast elite and grew up poor. He was an American success story, "rags to riches."

The Bushes have always been part of the elite - that's just a fact. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's difficult to come off as being for the "little man" when you went to Yale and Harvard.

Reagan went to Eureka College in Illinos - that's all you needed to know.

Of course, the opposite edge of the cover declares Pearl Jam's new work "The Best Album in 10 Years"

"The best way to judge the effectiveness of any Republican President is to ask the question: "How much do liberals hate him?""

Exactly. Bush has been very effective. He did have the benefit of having both houses of Congress under Republican control for most of his presidency so far, which Reagan did not.

The best way to judge the effectiveness of any Republican President is to ask the question: "How much do liberals hate him?"

Nixon and Reagan are slugging it out for second place.

This is probably because they aren't president anymore. Anger and disdain for a president generally cools off after he leaves office.

High Times magazine has the highest credibility ranking in San Francisco. Rolling Stone is a distant second.

That's a policy difference of opinion, not a matter of integrity for goodness sake - Bush could pick up an M-16 and fight terrorists personally if you really think he has not done everything possible to protect us from terrorists - all we need to know is if you agree with Rolling Stone's assessment?
