Who was it that let employers force you to pee on demand?

Exactly how is this a bad thing?

Where were the Rolling Stoned editors during the Carter Presidency?

They can't remember.

Bush is not a good president, but he is far from the worst. Clinton and Carter were far more inept, for different reasons.

What the Bushes prove, father and son, is that money and social connections count far far more than intelligence and principle in the political arena. That's not so unusual, that is just the history of mankind.

W has given some wonderful speeches in support of the defense of this country, speeches which more than met the historical circumstances they addressed. It would have been nice if he had anything to do with their composition, but he is not that intelligent, unlike Reagan. One of the differences (besides innate intelligence, of which Reagan had far more), was that Reagan was a man of integrity, and W is not.

The attacks on W are ridiculous and overblown. But that does not mean he is anyone conservatives should admire.

The Bushes disdain Ronald Reagan precisely because he did not come from the moneyed preceincts which give us David Souter and Harriet Meirs. In the Bush's eyes, money equals entitlement equals governance.

W was better than the men he ran against, no doubt. He is just not near anything the man this country needs both in a time of peril and in a time when the moors are coming loose.

RS is getting desperate for material. They haven't had much music talent to write about for the last 25 years.

"The Worst President in History?"

Only if we only count the last four years as "history". Of course by that he would be "The Best President in History" as well

Sir, you are fogetting Woodrow Wilson, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Lyndon B. Johnson.

Especially Bill Clinton. His only legacy is that he was the absolute worst president. Don't take that away from him.

It's odd that there are no Republican presidents on the "worst president" list. When we look at the long list of possible contenders for that title, they are all Democrats. Check it out.

No surprise. They did back the Dixie Chicks a few years back with that airbrushed cover making them look a lot less fat.

That's just an utterly ridiculous statement. The easiest counterpoint to make is how can the worse president ever have been elected to a second term? The worse president has to be so bad that he'd be a one-termer otherwise how bad can he be if he got the American to re-elect him. He had to have something right....oh wait, I forgot, Bush cheated.

Thanks for the cover - anyone know who the "leading historian" is?

"Leading Historian" is an interesting concept. What exactly does one "lead" about history? This supposed expert on things that have already happened is "leading." "Leading Revisionist" of history seems more appropriate.

I love observing and knowing history for what it is and I have a great appetite for the knowledge. But, I do despise the idea of a bunch of liberals sitting around "leading" history. Why don't they get off their collective clymers and go out and help American grow and make some history of their own!!
