Maybe Bush is better than Clinton

I have a few thoughts for you in response to some letters of late.

The voices now crying for the impeachment of Bush were silent during Waco, Elian Gonzales and the first World Trade Center attack, Ruby Ridge and the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole.

Their favorite president presided over the the largest bubble burst in U.S. economic history (DOT.COM).

China, India and Pakistan get nukes. The U.S. bombed Yugoslavia for weeks; hit the Chinese embassy and killed thousands of untold civilians.

The U.S. did a lot of bombing from 30,000 feet because Clinton was afraid to lose one soldier. With no U.N. backing then, the world and our enemies saw that as a cowardly way to fight a war.

Two of our embassies were bombed in Africa. The media marveled at the “charisma” of the man while al Qaeda plotted and planted terrorists.

Yes, these voices were silent. Don’t get me wrong, the Clinton administration was not the enemy, but there are some ramifications for it’s existence. Bush seems to have a lot of vocal critics and a lot of quiet supporters.

I believe giving 50 million people the chance to be free, is honorable. To ski and dance and worship how they choose (Afghanistan is still working on this).

Before everyone gives up on Iraq, people need to think about what country is geographically between Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is not a coincidence Iran is testing missiles that could be used against their neighbors – they would do that anyway. The Iraqi people are standing tall. Iran and other countries have been sending thugs and terrorists who, when they cannot successfully engage Americans, target Iraqi civilians.

To all those who think it is okay to “tag” Stop (Bush) signs, do not worry. Bush will be gone in a few years. We may then get another president who wants to “make friends” with our enemies. We will leave Iraq in defeat, as cowards like our brave soldiers were forced to do in Somalia.

World peace will become a reality and poverty will cease overnight as soon as our American women agree to wear Burkas. This has been a religious war for our enemies for generations.

I’m proud of our volunteer forces. They were finally allowed to make a stand, and are doing well.

I was not aware that the Governor of Arkansas had Federal jurisdiction in Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

Nope the fabulous "Magic Bullet" "Snarlin Arlen" Lead the Senate investigation, and with about the same result as the Warren Commision.
