I found my Human's
Basket of soft, colored yarn
Kitten Nirvana!

I climbed up slowly
Purring over the textures
That tickle my paws

I feel my paws slide
As I press down and wiggle
Too cozy for words!

Paws sliding out slow
As claws stretch and flex. Pulling
A soft, smooth, plump thread

A ball unravels
Pulling tight. My tail wiggles
As I sink deeper!

Nestled in delight
Paws and hind legs kick and twist
Loose threads round my ears

Pushing and pulling
The yarn surrenders each time
A superb Play time!

Draped and layered in
Soft cottony fluff. Time for
A well deserved nap!
