Well no I don't have any bullet points.. yet :) Actually I've been reading and learning from some of you like TigersEye. I frankly confess that I confused with the whole issue. The only thing that I know for SURE is that the border must be secured/closed somehow, that has to be FIRST. After that, well, I don't know...(but that is why we have congress an very smart people.. they can writte the details.) And here of course I am trying to be realistic and practical. Something tells me that different groups of people (illegals) must be given different considerations/priorities, like people who have been here for a long long time, have children born here, people important for some busenesses, etc. Some of them should be made go back and apply by for entry...etc, etc, etc. This is what my gut tells me. What do I know, the whole is is very complex from my perspective.

But again, I could almost agree to anything if the boder was finally closed and protected with a wall/fence where is needed, enforcement, technology, the works where the flow of illegals would be insignicicant, THEN we would be in a situation where we could call the shots. And that is basically my whole theory. I was frustrated at the beginning of this argument because almose everything i saw written was about the "11 M already here" but nothing, nothing about the BORDER! :) and that was driving me NUTS :). Luckily, the media finally got it ( as Charles Krathhammer article recently and now the media is taking about it more and more. Even congress seems to have gotten the message, that SECURITY is very important to the base, and I am sure they will try to trick us with some kind of language that it may sound good, but may not mean much in practice, we'll see.

Well I better stop here... and by the way, with this email I answer ALL who responded to my post. As for the "tone" I meant, really, anything that sounds reasonable, logical and useful without the offensive language that some use. IOW, something produced by reason rather than anger. So... I am still undecided, primarily, as I already said it a million times (in other posts too), because the issue fo SECURITY was kind pushed toward the back...(and STILL IS by our politicos) when if fact this should have been the first thing GWB should have done. Oh, I just saw your link JustPiper! :) that will take me a while to diggest.

La Enchiladita Oh, I just got yours :)... thanks for the advise. I will be checking with you guys and learning... I am open minded. One question... do you know if FR, or you rather you, (a lot I dont know about FR) could create a LINK just for this subject? perhaps withe bullet points we should use to send our policicos and WH! along with the telephones, email addresses, etc?

FR has links for just about everything except this IMMIGRATION. Why not important enough? :)

#1 for all persons protecting America, we must stop the inflow. #2 Stiff penalties for employers to encourage illegals to self emigrate. #3 and last: Figure out what to do with those who remain.

The House is doing well. We must encourage our Senators step #1 is the only viable option. Then #2 and ultimately we will work on #3. Currently, they are trying to work on step #3 and we are all suckers because they know #3 it totally ineffective by itself.

Never forget, your tax dollars are working are paying these ineffective employees. If they continue to be self serving and ineffective, they must be voted out. We have the power to do that!
