People I need brainstorming so we know our line of attack this week:
I need to know the WHO's that are powwowing this week?
There will be 26 Senate conferees, an unusually large group. The top seven Republicans and five Democrats from the Judiciary Committee will serve, along with seven additional senators from each party to be named by Frist and Reid.
18 MEMBERS on judiciary BUT they will only have The top seven Republicans and five Democrats along with seven additional senators from each party to be named by Frist and Reid.

Remember keep it simple and often ;)
If the two of us could put that into propulsion we'd zoom to DC ;)
Most excellent question!!
Your post is overwhelming. Amazing when researched, how the truth always prevails. Puts a "Burka" over the pro illegal immigration argument, doesn't it?
Based on a post of this last hour - Senator Kyl's statements are ALL LIES
"ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY WILL PASS THE SENATE"
from Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) at today's Town Hall in Sun Lakes, AZ
Statements by Senator John Cornyn:
I favor a second chance for hard-working illegal aliens currently within the United States,
Congress should also consider alternatives to amnesty. Senator Kyl and I introduced a bill that would grant all twelve million illegal aliens a second chance, but would not treat them better than legal immigrants who comply with the law. Illegal aliens who register with the government would immediately obtain work and travel authorization (and the legal protections that come with them) and would have a five-year period to depart. In order to avoid disruption of families and businesses, our bill would allow them to immediately re-enter legally. Our proposal neither rewards nor unduly punishes illegal aliens; instead, it places them on equal footing with other immigrants so that every individual has an equal opportunity to obtain a green card and citizenship.
Once Again Cornyn and Kyl are Traitor's!!!

Seven Steps For Self-Deportation
by: criticallyspeaking 05/13/06 07:06 pm
The following is an outline of a seven-step strategy that, when combined with current deportation efforts will cause the attrition (self-deportation) of the majority of those here illegally and greatly restrict the inbound illegal flow. We believe Encouraged Reverse Migration is the most viable strategy available to the U.S. government and one that will work over a short time horizon.
Step 1
Secure the Borders
* Extend fencing and increase border security on both borders
* Implement 'virtual border' technology where appropriate
* Increase manpower (Border Patrol Agents, CBP Agents)
* Substantially increase detention space (end Catch-and-Release)
* Uniformly apply expedited removal of illegal entrants
* Expeditiously implement comprehensive entry-exit (US-VISIT) system
Step 2
Apply Strong and Serious Worksite Enforcement
* Implement mandatory Electronic Eligibility Verification System
* Reduce number of documents permitted to show work authorization
* Increase and consistently apply civil and criminal penalties against
employers of illegal aliens
* Dramatically increase the number of Worksite Enforcement Agents
* Permit civil actions for employers against other employers who fail to
verify work eligibility of their employees
* Eliminate federal preemption on employer sanctions (i.e. allow states
to impose stricter penalties)
Step 3
Eliminate Document Fraud
* Rapidly increase and implement use of biometrics in immigration
documents
* Secure the Social Security card (counterfeit and tamper-resistant,
laminated like a driver's license)
* Expeditiously and fully implement the REAL ID Act including training of
immigration officials in detection of document fraud
Step 4
Reform the Unwitting Accomplices: the SSA and IRS
* Reform tax laws so employers cannot use employment of illegal aliens to
their advantage (i.e. deduction of wages and benefits)
* Provide increased resources for IRS to investigate and apply sanctions
for fraudulent tax returns submitted by employers and aliens
* Restrict use of ITINs (Individual Tax Identification Numbers) to only
tax-related purposes
* Require SSA to share information with DHS on issuance of no-match
letters to employers
* Bar work performed illegally from counting towards Social Security
Step 5
Encourage State and Local Law Enforcement Authorities to Enforce
Immigration Laws
* Clarify that there is no preemption
* Require federal reimbursement for state and local law enforcement
expenses directly related to illegal immigration except where local
sanctuary policies encourage illegal immigrant settlement
* Enhance coordination and information sharing between local and federal
law enforcement
Step 6
Eliminate State and Local Benefits
* Withhold federal grants to public universities that enroll aliens who
have neither legal residence nor a valid visa
* Encourage laws denying other privileges and benefits to illegal aliens
* Deny by law U.S. citizenship to children born in the US to illegal
aliens
Step 7
Give DHS and DOJ Resources Necessary to do its job; improve efficiency
(remember national security is riding on this too!)
* Establish an Assistant U.S. Attorney General for immigration
enforcement within DOJ
* Provide additional immigration judges
* Provide additional prosecutors
The only current pending legislation to fully incorporate the elements necessary for Encouraged Reverse Migration is H.R. 4313, the TRUE Enforcement and Border Security
About the only one I really trust on this immigration issue is Tancredo. If he isn't commenting positively in response, I don't trust whoever it is whose mouth is flapping. They're all a bunch of grandstanding sons-of-biscuits. Treasonous traitors too.
Guess who called THEM on the phone?!
Rep. Tom Tancredo

Some other's are:
Congressman John Boehner
Congressman J.D. Hayworth
Congressman Duncan Hunter
Congressman Steve King
Congressman Ron Paul of Texas
Rep. Russell Pearce
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher
Congressman Sensenbrenner
Senator Jeff Sessions
and a handful of some other's, many fence sitter's as usual, but it is obvious that we each will have to go after our own town, city, state etc. it will be locally that this problem is recognized, I firmly believe this
I should have a list of the guilty party's that are convening this week so we know who to send faxes, emails, calls to and I mean everyday
We keep it simple and let them know they will be out of a job come November plain and simple if they vote for any guest-worker amnesty, let them know this is where our power lies!
The phrases I heard at the rally that moved me:
"Here We Stand- We Shall NOT be moved" ~Steve Eichler MMP Exec Dir
"We Will Die on our feet before We Submit on our Knees!" ~Barbara Coe Director of CCIR
Barry Weinstein an MM member and journalist had the best suggestion:
For every Senator that votes for any form of amnesty including guest-worker do not go to their states as tourists Instead of AZ go to NM or somewhere in the SW that is on our side, Instead of Mass. got o New Hamp etc., THIS they will understand when it hits their tourist dollars
And Jim's best comment was to the journalists:
70% of you are Dirty and you know it ;)
And yes he did say Go to Hell, it became a chant!
Guess who called THEM on the phone?!
and ?
~smile
ah you've just explained my more exagerrated mania ;)
BTW the New Moon affects our behavior also
I watched most of the rally on C-Span yesterday but afterwards when there were some words exchanged, I could not detect exactly what was being said.
Personally, I think it was wrong for any Minutemen to walk over to shout at the little che guevara pep club. That immediately became the focus of the media in all their "coverage." The marxists were confined by police tape. I thought it was basically Ted Hayes who led the charge while using the American flag as a scarf and/or shawl. He has so little self-control, I wouldn't be surprised at what comes out of his mouth.
It's unfortunate for the MMP, with such a good cause to promote and represent, that they associate with someone who uses reckless tactics.
After all the arduous journey they took across our nation, it should have been crowned with dignity. This is one woman's opinion. I'm sure most of the Minutemen and Minutewomen did not participate in that scene.
Call everyday, especially Monday!
