Covering it on Fox now, pics show no fire. Thank God for that. That's somewhat amazing on a take-off. Could it have been a touch'n go?

Thanks...I see them every week on my trips to and from the Delaware beaches. When we were kids my father would pull over as they flew over our car...we now do that with our two sons. They are so giant you can't even believe that they would have the ability to fly. I also, always say a prayer for the hardworking servicemen/women each time I pass the base.

Attempting to land. Okay. Makes more sense re: no fire. Still praying for all involved.

My family and I caught a space-a trip to Germany and back about 20 years ago. I'm a pilot and couldn't get over their size.

It looks more like a C-17 to me.

Wow. Looks like another great piloting job may have saved many lives. I'm in awe of the people who fly these huge machines. They are so calm under stressful conditions. I hope nobody sustained severe injuries.
