Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wisc., says he's not going to be deterred by the wave of demonstrations protesting his bill to crack down on illegal immigration.

Responding to a pro-illegal immigration demonstration in Milwaukee on Thursday, Sensenbrenner called the protest "impressive," but added: "Many have tried to confuse the difference between legal and illegal immigration."

I'm not impressed or intimidated by the numbers of anarchists. I suspect they did more to harden resolve against them.

I'd like to see a congressional bill written to crack down on George Bush!

Now there's a true American Patriot that my family and I thank and we pray that Bill4437 gets passed. This is an American crisis of a cat5 proportion.

This issue will do more to shape the Future of USA than any other including the WOT..The washington elites view the future of our country as a diluted country with citizens who have no understanding of the vision of our founding fathers..open borders, massive immigration, use of our military as police for the ONe world order (under UN or other world body) (if youthink this is not possible it happened already in Bosnia and Serbia under UN control no less)..perhaps the 2nd amendment will save us, but folks, we will have lost this country if millions and millions of illegals are made legal, they already flexed their power with these marches across America..notice how cable news is giving little air time to these marches? but the politicians know in our corrupt times ..these illegals can and will vote..the time is very late for America.

Much more important to cover one isolated murder 24 hours a day instead of the murder of our country for even 24 seconds.

Bush has no power in this debate.

Reid has all the power. It takes 60 senators to stop a filibuster and reid said he will filibuster any bill that doesn't have amnesty.

If Sensennbrenner himself were president he would still need hillary and reid's approval without the 60 senate votes to break a filibuster.

The senate sucks. Don't you remember the estrada nomination where the dems all besides ben nelson filibustered.

Bush is irrelevenent in this debate. Harry Reid is the major power player on capital hill. No legislation can get done without his approval.

Republicans having 55 senate seats is useless. You need 60 senate seats to take the power away from reid.

Without the 60 senate seats the senate and thus congress is in gridlock. There is no majority with the filibuster.

I really liked the Mexicans flags. Puts in in perspective in a nice concise way.

To me, border control is more important as a security issue than any war in the mideast.

Obviously I'm glad we've gotten rid of Hussein and that taliban and we need to prevent the proliferation of nukes in the hands of nutjobs but we just aren't secure when terrorists can simply walk across our border.

Any rational person simply assumed that border control would rise to the top immediately after the 9/11 attacks. I remember thinking that border control was some good that could come from 9/11.

Thanks for being rational. Those mobs have no right coming here to demand anything. They are aided and protected by Democrats who want all their votes.

I thought the same thing, but it's looking more and more as if it was just wishful thinking on my part.
