Re: Your attempt to shut down political free speech on the Internet

John McCain, you treasonous bastard, I challenge you or any of your traitorous cohorts to find even one thread, one post, one paragraph, one sentence or even one lousy word posted to this web site that is not fully protected by the First Amendment!

And I will extend that to one chapter, one group, one poster or any group of posters on this forum. Name one assembly, petition, letter, protest, meeting or rally convened, filed, submitted, attended or supported by members of this forum that is not 100% protected and guaranteed as free speech or free assembly by the First Amendment!

Your McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation is a treasonous act. You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too.

How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. And that's a campaign promise you can take to the bank.

You can take your fascist campaign finance laws and the jackbooted FEC anti-free-speech enforcers you are empowering and put them where the sun don't shine. And if this post is in violation of your unconstitutional law, shove it too!

Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed:

The Beast never dies, it simply changes form. The Beast has known many forms: Bolshevism, communism, Nazism, fascism. The Beast has had many names: Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot.

The Beast cannot co-exist with freedom. The very first freedom lost is the freedom of speech, then religion, knowledge and the arts. Anything that empowers the individual must be destroyed. The state must control all.

Power to the state.

Power as an end to itself.

Those who speak out against the Beast are labeled extremists, radicals, warmongers. Churchill, McCarthy, Reagan.

The Beast must be contained, appeased. We must have "Detente" at any cost. Direct confrontation of the Beast must be avoided.

Appease him and pray the wolf may pass our door.

Free speech must die.

The Beast never dies.

Thanks for showing up at Olney and Walter Reed.

We may have even met at Walter Reed.

Right and even though that's antedotal information... I can look up and down my street here in the deep South and tell you that 15 households of my immediate neighbors are already committed to voting for and working for McCain.

We're doomed as a country if we ever abandon the electoral college.

John McCain will never get the GOP nomination, so why should anybody "register" their support or non-support of him, other than concerning THIS specific issue?

I've seen about a half dozen or so that advocate support of Republicans traditionally and expect everyone else to do so.

Is there another viable choice?

Even Jim Robinson has said he is going to support the GOP this year and in 2008.

"That's reality right there. Alot of Democrats will cross-over and vote for McCain"

The Dim's will only crossover if it looks like Hildabeast has a lock on the nomination.

If they nominate her or and equal wingnut, a dead raccoon could beat them.

If it looks like a reasonable Republican like Allen has a lock, I will crossover and vote Dim for Hildabeast.

Either way the Demonrats lose.

Give me a break. Our polls cannot be reasonably applied to reality. We're too far right of the electorate.

Exactly. Most of us are far more firmly rooted into our beliefs, and pay more attention to all the nuances and intricacies of the election cycle than the larger segment of the population that remain firmly undecided until election day.

The undecideds and independents make up their mind by following the largest group of people. They're not leaders. They're gutless losers and get puffed up by following the bigger herd.

Relatives of mine who either winter in or live in Arizona would work tirelessly to the end to see that McCain gets nominated and elected president.

They all think I'm crazy and don't know what the hell I'm talking about when I tell them all the terrible things McCain has done for this country politically.

Right on all counts.
People like him. They admire him.
Things we hate that he's voted for or championed are often times POPULAR with others.

Jim Robinson stated here, in the post he initiated, McCain will not have his vote. Whether the members in the House and Senate receive his support to represent us in those legislative bodies in their election campaigns has nothing at all to do with the fact he has just declared that McCain can count himself a vote short in '08 in his presidential bid. Which is the topic of the thread. Whether we should support maintaining Republican Majorities in the House and Senate is another topic.

John McCain will never get the GOP nomination, so why should anybody "register" their support or non-support of him, other than concerning THIS specific issue?

Why should Robinson register his lack of support for McCain's run for the W.H? Because certain people in Washington tend to forget who votes in these elections. They tend to believe they can intimidate and make the base fall in line with their choice. The size and passion of this thread alone proves they have yet to successfully do so and should give their lurkers pause I suspect.

I've never voted Democrat in my life, and I'm not about to start, even if it's just to "make things interesting" or to get my jollies up in an uproar.

Hillary is neither entitled to the scepter of power, nor should she be rewarded with such inept stupidity from voters like you.

Actually, it has occurred to me that our like minded brethren in Canada at Free Dominion might be interested in some sort of server-swap which might benefit both FR and FD.

Free Dominion servers are already in the US.

The Canadian Liberals would have shut them down years ago otherwise.

John McCain will never get the GOP nomination, so why should anybody "register" their support or non-support of him, other than concerning THIS specific issue?

Why should you then be the most prolific poster in this thread with your opposition to Jim Robinson and those who agree with him in NOT voting for McCain? If he's never going to get the nomination, they why are you wasting your time here and annoying everyone?

Even Jim Robinson has said he is going to support the GOP this year and in 2008.

Again, I call your attention to the post that Jim Robinson made to start this very thread into which you've posted so much nonsense:

"John McCain, you treasonous bastard..."

"You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too. "

"How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! Ronald Reagan's office! President? Hah! You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. If you do run, I'm afraid you're gonna be at least one vote short. Your reading and comprehension skills are the pits. You need to get that checked out.

Starting with such things like CFR. The way it's portrayed in the media, most people get the impression it's to level the political playing field because it's "patently unfair the Republicans raise far more money than the Democrats do! wah-wah-wah-boo-hoo! *sniffle*".
