Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Vice President Dick Cheney.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., and Jack Reed, D-R.I.; Olympic speed skater Joey Cheek.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and Joseph Biden, D-Del.; Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Chalabi; Afghan Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah; former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
And he HATES Rumsfeld.
You will have to turn the A/C off. It's the switch over on the left......
Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten. What a piece of work he was then too.
I'd better shut up.
Think about this...Daschle was briefed on it...before he was defeated.
HE certainly has no reason to be quiet all of these years...why didn't HE say something..or leak something???
BTW..Kristol just said that the editorial by Rummy SHOULD show that Rummy should be FIRED?????
Yeah really, wait a few minutes until Britt uses Juan for a mop.
Thank God for Brit.
Between Juan and Kristol's trashing of Rummy... stunning stuff from the mouths of those two.
Hi MEG33, I agree with the lame excuse. But, for me it's because there was nothing to stop any Democrat senator from asking their party leadership on these committees for information or confirmation in a general way that would not have compromised security or secrets. All they had to ask was "are you okay with this" before coming out and making fools out of themselves.
That could've been a Swiffer commercial ....swoosh!!! God bless Brit .. I HATE the thought of him retiring and FNC losing the most professional journalist on the beat today, and THE ONLY ONE who'll take down every rumor, myth and lie so handily WITH facts. May he be there for another 10 years at least .. he's our walking truth serum, which we're going to need for the future revisionist BS we'll hear down the road.
Sorry, I got carried away.
Great response...but what gets me- is that NONE of them had an issue with it...UNTIL it was leaked. They did NOT go get legal counsel to figure out if this was illegal..
Besides.. they all keep SCREAMING that this is ILLEGAL..but NONE OF THEM WILL VOTE TO STOP IT!
If it is illegal- then FIRST STOP IT! THEN CHARGE THE GUILTY!
It is the epitome of trying to convict the guy who RUNS the Illegal Crack House while keeping said Crack House open for bitness......an' you know what I'm talkin' 'bout!
Absolutely. That was Britt's point. No on(of the rats) ever spoke up until they could effectively demagogue the issue.
Boy....I was beginning to wonder if Brit was going to let Kristol get away with being MORE idiotic than Juan..
Brit didn't let me down...THWAPP..right across the kisser to Kristol..
"Bill, I do think that Rummy is thinking about the war right now, in fact I have a feeling that is ALL he thinks about"..(paraphrasing here)..
BTW...the Person of the Week...is Mark McClellan, for his work on the Medicare RX policy.
DID any of you see that the program is doing BETTER than expected..and is CHEAPER than expected..
But is NOT being talked about in the MSM???
Kristol has some personal issues with this President and it's a shame he has a national platform to voice them.
His talk today would not have pleased his hero, John McCain. Maybe McCain needs to have lunch with Kristol.
I want to know what Congress is going to do to keep me from gettting 20 emails a day on penile extensions....
501 posts to go....
Brit did a yeoman's job today. Had to slap down both Juan and Kristol.
I didn't see that program. I know MSM are ignoring the GOOD news regarding the drug benefit program for seniors.
Oh boy, my blood is boiling. What to do?
Have a nice cold beer?
