I'm interested to hear of any personal perception of fall out from the ports deal. We're beginning to get dribs and drabs, such as the decision to move reserves out of dollars, but are ex-pats seeing any real impact?

This is both an intellectual question without any bias and a personal question with tons of bias. I need to know that you're OK or I'm going to call on all of my (very limited) chits, if you think they'll be of assistance.

Juan is so wrong -- impeached a president for fooling around with an intern.

NO, for lying under oath!

Kristol runs lukewarm and cold. He's rarely been HOT on Bush's side.

The people who opposed the Dubai deal should see the difference there over the past four or five years.

Kristol is no friend of the Bush Admin. The first timea story came out about really low poll numbers for W, someone photoshopped Kristol peeing his pants with glee..(if such a thing is possible). It appears he thought he was entitled to a job in the administration and didnt get one..

Let's watch for his column.

Do you remember the Clarence Thomas hearings? Biden was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee then!

Never again!

ARG....Kristol just said that Republicans canNOT run on "if you don't re-elect the Republicans the President will be impeached"...

Why NOT??? I actually think that would be the most effective..because I have seen posts by freepers that HATE Bush's immigration policy...and have sworn not to vote for Republicans because they aren't any better...

BUT, if you push them to say they would not vote..or vote democrat, if that meant Bush would be impeached or Pelosi would be Speaker of the House..and Murtha in charge of defense appropriations...

They usually back down...and say they will vote Republican.

Brit says that Durbin has not heard anything about this program and what it all involves .. and Durbin is talking out of his HAT .. *L*

I just saw the replay, and for the record, Brit was talking about Feingold's statement that it was illegal, not Durbin's comments this morning. Brit said that Feingold wasn't one of the ones briefed, so he doesn't know what went on and can't say what was illegal.

Woo HOO! Brit took Juan to the woodshed..Juan cannot rebut that the dems who were briefed on the surveillance DID NOT say it was illegal..Did not object strongly , privately to the President's acts....

It is
POLITICS...Durbin's excuse that their hands were tied because of classified info is lame..They could have objected strongly to the President!

Kristol is hired to talk. I wish he would THINK before he speaks.

Only the core far left want impeachment hearings.

The electorate does not.

I agree. Run against the damn democrats, pointing out their dirty agenda.
