Refelcting on the sacrifices of the men and women of the military. Calls it The Liberation of Iraq. (Good, I say.) Says people should offer thanks to the military....applause by the South Lawn tourists. HAHAHAHA!

Off the subject (a little): Tony Blair, (Labor guy that he is), has turned out to be a Statesman of first rank. If you remember, during WW2 Churchill turned the government, sans war policy, over to the Labor Party. Because of the threat to the UK, they worked harmoniously throughout the war. I tip my hat to Tony for seeing the Big Picture versus the narrow, parochial demands of his constituency.

Great post GBC!
Some of the Dims and MSM have already discounted the tapes for one ridiculous reason or another. As more and more tapes come out, it will be interesting to see how long they can continue to ignore them and/or discount them. It will also be interesting to see which bandwagon, so to speak, the Pubbie congresscritters decide to jump on.

Short and to the point. And no lip biting, no "feeling ones pain" and no ambiguity. Just an admonishment, albeit gentle, to remember those who have sacraficed for Iraq. He truly is one of the best Presidents we have had to date, and I dont care who calls me a Bushbot..!

Will's latest column is beyond idiocy. Claiming that this war is longer than WWI which is a false statement. We entered the war at the very end and then cut and ran with the Armistice agreement.
Most historians agree that WWII was a continuation of WWI and was what should have been done in the first war since it cost the world 20 million lives.
So it really took 15 year for WWI to win the war and yet another 10 years after that to win the peace in Germany and Japan. Course the scholarly Will happens to leave that out to show his objectivity.
Why is it when I think Rockefeller Republican George Will's face always pops up in my mind? He should stick to something he knows, like the DC Nationals.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters

I have always believed the theory that Pretty Women and Handsome men can get away with several times the stuff that the average looking or "plain" or "Plain Ugly" person could not. I do not think Richardson thinks he is anything but good looking, and that he can do any disgusting thing he wants while Governor and still be in the race for President. He forgets that New Mexico is not California or Mexico, and he did not even have the Power to Steal the Votes in N Mexico in 2004 with a Leftist Secretary of State in charge.

(Changed my tagline back for this anniversary of the liberation of Iraq! We were waiting on this day for deployment, which seemed an eternity, but was really only a few days).

Will has always been an Establishment republican.
Don't forget he supported the Gang of 14 sell-out on judges, was vicious in his attacks on Bush I, and was against term limits.
He's willing to make conservative noises, but he'll go silent or betray us on every issue essential to the liberal establishment.

This Republic cannot afford for the Democrats and their media allies to triumph this time. If we lose this fight we may not get another chance. Agreed
