A large tornado has moved through Illinois and has just hit the City of Springfield. Spotters reported a large tornado moved through the city. Damage is being reported. Emergency responders are being called in from surrounding areas.
NWS reports that this was a large wedge tornado.

That second line runnning across MO/AR has me worried, the cold front is behind the second line of storms. It looks like it is getting longer and wider.
Nothing here in OK but it looks like it's gaining energy. It also looks like the weather may be hitting from northwest to southeast/
Our earlier wall clouds turned into a tornado for Rogers/Bentonville Arkansas> Should be in Tennessee or Indiana by now

Howdy! Midwest is under the gun, we're just going to get a little rain and thunder down here in Dallas. My A/C went out last night and it got to 87 degrees today. Absolutely can't sleep when it is hot, so I'm waitng for this darn cold front to finally get here in the next few hours! Still 75 outside.
