Hey those log homes are tough.

It's not a log home in downtown Springfield ;-).

Let's just hope this "before" picture of the Lincoln Home in downtown Springfield resembles the "after" (storm) picture.

Watching the area... definately looks like Dallas will get some action, storms are popping pretty well west of Tarrant CTY. Fortunately, most of the energy is well north, and you are removed from the daytime heating by several hours.

I lived in Rockwall for 4 yrs... I miss those TX storms when spring comes around.

interesting that they went with a torn watch.

looks like a line forming, I guess the southern most cells could be problematic though.

Rockwall, eh? Yeah, then you know the routine. I saw a map the other day that had north central Texas as second only to central Oklahoma in the average number of tornadoes per X square miles. But after having lived here awhile, that sounds scarier than it really is.

Wow! My grandma was a patient of your dad for years and he also removed a wart from my finger when I was in Jr. High, a million years ago! Small world.

Well, since you are a conservative, I assume, I'll be sure to throw some business your way if I ever break out with anything!

Dry line is moving through -- temperature just dropped nine degrees in last five minutes. We have now behind the dry line, winds are down and humidity is rising. We have been out of the watch box for sometime in my area of the County.

Been an unusual couple of springs around here -- tornadic activity has been way down. Only time I have heard the sirens is when they test them -- we have some news ones that are loud enough to wake you in the middle of the night.

Well considering we're in St Charles, this is just fine and dandy. Glad I told my boy scout 12 year old to take a working flashlight to bed with him. He also took his pocket watch and the cell phone (for the light of course).

Drives the chasers crazy because MO is a bad, bad state to drive after tornadoes in, from what I gather.

Many of the roads do not run in a grid - and most of MO is very rolling, hilly country. Not flat, like Kansas, Nebraska, central Illinois.
