Oh Lord ................. Sen. Richard Lugar, Rep. John Murtha, Sen. Susan Collins, and Weasley 'Ashley Wilkes' Clark.

These names together of these guests this good morning bring the following quote to mind:

“Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.”

I think I'll miss these sweethearts this morning.

;-)

"They didn't have cars, credit cards..."

To be fair, some had cars (registered to others) and some had credit cards (in the names of others)...lol.

"I'm having trouble getting a handle on Brown."

No trouble at all: When he was a Bush appointee, he was evil. Now that he's out of the Bush circle, he's a saint. There's no need for a messy transition, just ignore the previous stories.

Brownie claims and believes that he did a great job on 4 hurricanes the previous year in Florida. The difference between the states and their governors are the difference between the automobile vs the horse and buggy age. So in Florida, FEMA did what it was tasked to do. The infrastructure of Florida and the executive abilities of Jeb Bush did not interfere with what the FEMA mandate was.

Brown was totally unprepared for the obstruction and lack of cooperation he found in Louisiana.

He also is not very articulate so he sounds whiny.

No, I think they are clicking the "republican" line.

Brian answered a question a while back as to why they had a "Democrat", "Independent" and "Bush" lines. Brain said that when they had "Republican" lines, too many democrats would call in on it and pretend to be republicans who didn't like Bush.

Thats what happening here... At first I thought it was just accident they happened to get through, while REAL republicans were alot more rare.

But my point now is that they have AT LEAST one (female) call screener that pushes through obvious democrat seminar callers and rejects 'strong' republican points and keeps them off the air. It could be she is just bad at her job, but I have a feeling there is conscious knowledge of what she is doing.

Who knows if there is only one like that....

Well, I hope someone watches that idiot Lugar (my senator) to see how he criticizes the President today, for I know he will. I wrote an explanation on the pre-show thread yesterday.

I have flu so I am going to skip it.

LOL!

WOW!

even if they didn't have cars or credit cards-- what was Bush supposed to do? Give them cars and credit cards? (overnight) nonetheless......

the problem is not lack of cars or credit cards... it is the lack of BRAIN POWER and responsibility over one's own life and destiny....

not to mention the lack of brain power from Nagin and Blanco....pure idiots....

Perhaps since I am from Baltimore she assumed that I was a Dem using the R line. HA! Fooled her. It was curious that the host went to a 'republican' immediately after me. I thought they at least maintained the fiction that they rotated through the 3 phone lines.

Jack Kemp? Thats the best they could do!

The man has done... what... in the last 10 years?

Except for being in Bush I's cabinet, he hasn't held a government job or been elected to anything since 1992.

He seems to be one of the MSM's favorite house conservatives. I can remember when he came to California, uninvited, and called us all racists, and trashed everyone (ie. 55% of Calf Voters) who voted for Prop No. 187.
