Would you like to learn a little more about yourself and your fellow posters on Free Republic? If so, you might enjoy this Freeper Research Project.

It began on another thread where people were testing themselves for “nerdiness”. Great fun was had by all.

Along the way, Freeper patton posted a link to the Jung personality test.

What an adventure! I took the test for the first time and found out I am an INFJ (I=44, N=75, F=25, J=25).

Because we were sharing the results of our tests on that thread, I was pleasantly surprised to discover three other Freepers with the same personality type. And, naturally, being curious – some of us went to yet another link to find out what the code means and what famous people are INFJs:

The strange part is that INFJ’s are the smallest in the general population, but among those posting on the thread, INFJs were in the majority. Does that mean that INFJ’s are drawn to Free Republic or to those kinds of tests, or are more willing to discuss such things?

At any rate, it is a delightful musing about this forum, the posters we are drawn to (or against): does the Jung personality test have anything useful to say to us?

If you are interested or perhaps would just like to have some fun, take the test and check out the results. And if you’re willing, post your results here on this thread so that we can all “compare notes”.

Most of the other INFP scores I've seen had higher numbers in the first 2 spots and lower numbers for the 2nd two.

As usual - I find myself opposite of most people. According to the analysis INFPs are only 1% of the population - and then to boot, I'm even different from most of those: a minority of a minority.

Yes, but judging means something quite different in regard to Myers-Briggs. It means that you have to make a decision and act upon it, not just merely the act of discriminating. And, I should know - I am a very discriminating person.

I too am the judging type....this means I AM judgemental. Think about it this way; try do describe "judging type" in one word....you would probably say judgemental.

1 She is the judging type.

or

2. She is judgemental.

It's is just a language conception barrier that I am trying to point out. But then again I am ENTJ.

Yeah, we get Boomerang and as a result, are bombarded by Smurfs and Snorks everyday. Since I lived in Saudi Arabia from 3 to 6, I didn't watch many English cartoons (and I didn't watch much TV anyway. I played outside a lot.), and never saw Looney Tunes until at least 6.

Yes, I personally can see myself strapping someone down to a chair, taping their eyelids open, and forcing them to watch Scooby Doo and other old dumb cartoons (sorry, but my brother got me to hate Scooby Doo after he watched it every day for over a year.)...that would be more entertaining then the shows themselves.

I grew up on Pink Panther cartoons. Still love those things.
