It is an aggressive militant movement disguising itself as a religion.


It will not ever assimilate itself into Western culture.

Melas, it is going on in many Mosques all over the USA. Aid, comfort, money...going to the Theocracy. Perhaps my area is just a hot bed for these kind of groups, but I wouldn't trust any of them...ever.

Islam won't accept 'correction' without the application of overwhelming force. There's simply no sitting down and talking reasonably with people who think it's fine and dandy to lie, cheat, and steal as long as it's against infidels. Moderate Muslims are afraid to speak out against violence. Presumably, they pick and choose what to follow from the Koran, but human nature being what it is, if Jihad succeeds, moderate Muslims will do more than go along to get along. They'll join in with ferocity. And we're not talking sticks and stones, it's nukes.

They won't tolerate Israel, the US, women's rights as half the human race, free speech, individual rights. Really, it's ridiculous to even have this discussion since we're the Great Satan. We're dithering about their rights and they're planning to obliterate us at the first opportunity. It's an eighth century culture mired in hatred, joblessness, jealousy, fear of emasculation...generations of that, fear of women, the list is endless. Islam is no better than the claptrap Jim Jones dinned into his followers'heads before he forced them to commit mass suicide.

100% Bin Laden or 100% Star Academy
2 days ago, LBC TV hosted a special discussion on one of its weekly program… The discussion was about Star Academy & Saudi Arabia culture after the winning of Hisham Abdul Rahman…

Three main guests talked and showed different opinions about Star Academy show and its good and bad sides on the Arab World… One of the guests was totally against Real TV programs and he was wondering if any Arab Family would send its daughter to participate in such programs!!! – Families from Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Syria and Algeria already sent their daughters… -

Another guest said in a sarcastic way: ‘Do we have to be either with 100% Bin Laden or 100% Star Academy??’

What is your opinion? Do Star Academy or Real TV shows contradict with your country or not?

Getting to the point of the subject now. Bin Laden is a psycho. He did something very wrong and HARAM. What is the so HARAM about Star Academy? Did they harm anyone? Did they kill people?

Saudi Arabia people have been making a big deal about Star Academy for no reason. There is nothing wrong with the damn program. We will hear comments every year for the same nonsense reason.

If those people do not like, disagree, or even find it HARAM, then they should not watch it. Just ban the channel. Period.

I am Lebanese and Muslim. Haifa Wehbe is the shame for the Muslims and Arabs, although she is from the extremist Muslims.
I bet if Haifa Wehbe goes to Saudi Arabia for some concerts, all men would be all over her. Including all other muslim countries.

I mean please! Mullas in Kuwait and KSA issued fatwas condemning the show as "satanic" and god knows what! You Don't like it? Then don't watch it and most of all don't fund it (Knowing that Saudis fund such programs) and much less send your own sons to take part in it! So much contradictions... It really has no relation with the country...coz inside each country u can find huge contradictions..its exactly the case in my country: 50% of families would never allow their daughters to participate in such programs...and the others,can not only send their daughters there but also allow some provocative behaviours!!!

On the contrary, everything about it is so innocent its hard to believe that the contestants in star academy are of the same age as those on, for example, The Real World (here in the U.S). There is absolutely nothing sinful and the contestants living together, working together, and trying to reach their goals.

The point is Saudi Arabia, and all the people who share the same opinion have that things about women only...Would you send your daughter??? they didn't say would you send your son!!! We are in 2005 and such a program is great program we learned how other Arabs live, speak, .....All the girls that participated were decent girls from good families and knew how to act within their culture and religion.....
