The Hidden Army Of Radical Islam

Sky News has obtained evidence of hundreds of radical Islamic Holy warriors hiding in Bosnia, a decade after the end of the war. Tim Marshall went to Zenica in search of answers. He found a growing radicalisation, and a new base for Al Qaeda.

Zenica has been the home for revolutionary Jihadists since 1992. In that year a meeting in Khartoum, Sudan, involving OBLaden and Hasan al-Turabi laid the groundwork for activity in both Somalia and the Balkans. In the Sudan Mohammed Hassanein was named to take control of action in the Balkans. He had alredy formed the Third World Relief Agency, and with more funding it began to sponsor the movement of Jihadists to Zenica and sites in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Muwafaq Brigade that operated from there was "officially" disbanded in 1996. However, many jihadists had married local girls, and many decided to stay on in Muslim Bosnia where President Izetbegovic offered them a safe haven. And there they are today.

Well, if they are hiding, they're hiding pretty darn well.

There are thousands of Bosnians in the St. Louis area, and my sole impression is that they are very good people grateful to be a in America. A couple of Bosnians have done baby-sitting for me.

I haven't heard of any problems whatsoever. Yes, they are Muslim. But no problems.

We tilled the soil with U.S. bombs and watered it with Christian blood so that this could take root and grow. Sometimes you wonder who's side we're on.

You may want to reconsider that opinion!

The Houston Chronicle's Gregory Katz has a disturbing report from Belgrade that the combination of loose borders and powerful organized crime syndicates have made the Balkans "a paradise for al-Qaeda."

According to local, Bosnian media number of foreigners, Muslim who entered country is uncounted for. In one case dozens of Pakistanis who entered Muslim Bosnia as members of “folk and dance” group simply disappeared. Nobody can (or want) to tell you what happened to them or where they went.
