Muslims have little integrity demanding respect for our faith if we don't show it for others. When have we demonstrated against Saudi Arabia's policy to prevent Christians and Jews from stepping on the soil of Mecca? They may come for rare business trips, but nothing more. As long as Rome welcomes non-Christians and Jerusalem embraces non-Jews, we Muslims have more to protest against than cartoons.

Fine, many Muslims will retort, but we're talking about the prophet Muhammad - Allah's final and therefore perfect messenger. However, Islamic tradition holds that the prophet was a human being who made mistakes. It's precisely because he wasn't perfect that we know about the so-called Satanic Verses; a collection of passages that the prophet reportedly included in the Koran. Only later did he realise that those verses glorified heathen idols rather than God. According to Islamic legend, he retracted the idolatrous passages, blaming them on a trick played by Satan. When Muslims put the prophet on a pedestal, we're engaging in idolatry of our own

There have been some refreshing admissions by some Muslim commentators yet at the end of it they suppress the truth about their prophet.

Of course the truth was actually written by a Muslim with the original biography about Mohammad. There can be no accusation that the writer of the truths about Mohammad was a non-Muslim and an “enemy of Islam”.
Manji refers to “mistakes”, which is the most inventive e<uphemism I’ve ever heard about Mohammad’s murders and mayhem as described by Ishaq
At least Manji acknowledges how Satan influenced Mohammad. That puts him on a par with Peter, the follower of Jesus, who Jesus once rebuked Peter on at least one occasion for being influenced by Satan. This was the occasion when Peter thought Jesus should not die on the cross. Satan never influenced Jesus.
Interestingly Peter used a sword at Jesus’ arrest and Jesus condemned it (cf Mohammad some 600 years later).
Manji is brave and honest enough to admit the satanic verses incident is true, which supports the authenticity of Ishaq's work

Zul-Qarnain - What is the argument?

I have never claimed that Zul-Qarnain *is* the historical Alexander the Great. I don't know why your move to agree with me in this is considered a rebuttal... The argument is then that the Qur'anic story is clearly taken from the legends about Alexander. There are many many details of the Qur'an account which are nearly verbatim to be found in the Alexander legends. Conclusion: Zul-Qarnain clearly is the Alexander the Great of the legend stories. And because the Qur'an presents the material from the legends as if this were history, it shows that Muhammad could not distinguish between legends and history when he incorporated this material in the Qur'an. This is evidence that the Qur'an is not of divine origin.
