That post is funny. I had no dog in this fight and just wanted a good game. I don't really like either team.. but anyone knowing anything abut football knows that there were several bad calls in key situations that generally favored the Steelers.

Congrats to the Steelers. The refs did a great job...Seattle just sucked (the team and the city).

Dude, get over it....it's just a game, OK?

I see people blaming the Refs, but if I was a seahawk fan Id blame the piss poor play calling to end the first and second halfs
To: highlander_UW
I guess you're really going to feel badly about the Steelers riding in that Seattle victory parade tomorrow. The point is, the hawks didn't play very well either.

I wanted the Steelers to win and I am glad they did, but I agree with you the referees in this game were bad, in fact I think they were the worst ever in a Superbowl game. Their bad calls against the Seahawks may have well changed the outcome of the game.

The story tomorrow will be the bad refs I hope that it is. I'm a Steelers fan, but there were three tide-turning bad calls in their favor.

... Would you mind telling me who's going to win next year's Super Bowl and World Series, too? Since you can see into the future and all. ....
Weren't you listening? The team that the rats at the top want to win. This is not good for Steelers either. They didn't get a chance to win fair and square.
Sure they got the trophy, but what's a made up trophy worth?

They didnt win, they have it given to them. How does it feel to "win" the Super Bowl and NOT be see as the better team? You had the better story and refs made sure that you "won"
To: nightdriver
The Seahawks just got their beaks ripped off! Yes, by the Stealers
To: Yossarian
Well, that's that. What an odd, unsatisfying game. Not a blowout, not close, just sloppy, sloppy all the way around.
I agree 100%.
Congrats to the Steeler Fans. Condolences to the Seahwak fans. Been on both sides with my Packers, winning is much more fun.

While I don't agree the officiating was bad really even if it was I'm not bothered. I remember the season where the league apologized to the Steelers FOUR times for blown calls that cost them games (starting with the OT game in Detroit on Thanksgiving which created the "Bettis rule" on coin tosses), 4 losses which cost the Steelers a playoff birth. So if some bad officiating helped us out here I think it's just some balance.
