My son had one ref that was an official in multiple sports. He called a penalty on my son's basketball team because he said that my son hung on the rim in warm ups. There were many worse calls than that, but that was the most ridiculous.

Amen to that. That holding call was a game changing, back breaking call, again on a marginal hold.
To: Perdogg
it was a horse collar...
that hold was dubious
And I don't understand the PF on Hasselback
To: B Knotts
I don't understand the penalty against Hasselbeck. Especially since he was making a tackle at the time.
To: Theresawithanh
These ref's should be beaten with a cane and have grain alcohol poured into the wounds.
To: discostu
He grabbed the guy's collar and pulled him down, and that was just barely enough to keep the defender from Matt, that is a textbook hold. Not a bad call.Huh? The call was "below the waist", not the collar.

Didn't think there were Seabird fans in Phoenix. Plenty of Browns and Cowboys fans there.

the zebras are in favor of the steelers.

If the Steelers get a TD on this drive, game over I'm afraid.

The Steelers had that exact call go against them twice this season (Indy and Colts regular season). I disagree with the rule and how it's been interpretted this year but at least they're consistent.

That's my position, too. I'm not really rooting for either side, but the officiating has been awful.
To: Theresawithanh
I don't have a dog in this fight. Though I don't like the Steelers.
This is the worst officiated game I've seen in quite some time.
Seattle is getting royally porked tonight. It's a damnned shame.

Personal foul, blocking below the waist. Another bad call..he wasn't blocking, he was tackling...I guess Hasselbeck didn't know the Steelers play flag football.

The fix is in. This is the most poorly officiated Super Bowl I have ever seen. Just awful!

Its official, this thing is about as scripted as WWF. The refs control the action and the score with holding calls and its obvious they want the storybook finish for the "Bus"

Good to see instant replay has taken the refs out of the game.
To: Wristpin
What is it with all the profiles of the Steeler players? This is beginning to look like affirmative action for the Steelers.
