yeah...
I wasn't talking about Bama fan. I don't have a beef with them.
I have a beef with the school. in the end, the transgressions of the administration, boosters and a few players cost many other players the chance to thrive in college football and took a very storied program ALMOST to the brink.
I hear you, but you gotta give Mike Shula credit, he's brought the Tide back. I didn't think he had the cajones, but he's gotten them back to a top 15 level. The SEC just isn't as much fun if Bama is down. Next to LSU winning the national title a couple of years ago, the last truly fun time to be an SEC fan was when the Tide ran all over Miami in the Sugar Bowl. I won a lot of bets that night. ;^)
You can explain it any way you want. Condoleezza Rice supports abortion on demand. The end.
Hopefully we'll get to see a glimpse of her on TV. Such a smart woman, too bad she's a Steeler's fan ;)
LOL
yeah...
oh NOW Bama is ok, so now I can go back to hating them, kinda like Notre Dame :)
Being an Ohio State fan and all :)
you can explain it everywhere YOU want, except she doesn't say that she supports "abortion on demand" ANYWHERE.
'Burgh Ping!
Except she's a lousy prognosicator!
Go 'hawks!
She's cheering the Steelers on on Sunday!
yeah...
I think I am too...
That girl is going to get EVERYTHING done she planned and dreamed about. What a role model.
On that vexing topic of abortion, Rice has reportedly described herself as 'mildly pro-choice' on one occasion and 'reluctantly pro-choice' on another. It is worth noting that she has not used her pro-choice views to enhance her media celebrity status or invoke her 'more tolerant than thou position' vis-à-vis pro-life Republicans, as Richard Riordan, Arlen Specter and Christine Todd Whitman are wont to do although it is equally worth noting that Colin Powell's views on the subject started out as mild as Rice's and became more strident over time as their political mileage became more apparent. Moreover, the speculation over Rice being on a national ticket has generated some surprisingly fresh thoughts on the whole abortion debate I especially recommend Patrick Ruffini's 'rant' on the subject.

the big bummer is that michigan and the cities around detroit have the largest muslime population in the U.S.
and i hope detroit hires mike martz as off. coord.
agrivating head coach (time outs futile challenges etc.)
but can he ever bring an offense along. might even get joey h. to live up to his potential.
since all presidents require life time secret service, i doubt baseball wants the security head aches 24/7.
Is Rush going to the Super Bowl? They could talk football all day long and never bring up politics.
Her experience growing up under segregation and oppression made her a very strong supporter of the Second Amendment. For me, that trumps her squishy position on abortion. Condi 2008!

When Condi was provost at Stanford, she used to work out with the football team during their training sessions.
Good work-out!

"I'm not picking against them again." ---- SMART, CONDI
There are those who attribute Rice's ascent in American politics as much to the love of sports she shares with George W Bush as her grasp of foreign policy. Rice is an avid Browns fan and even carries her make-up kit around in a Browns duffle bag. Appointing her to the position of Secretary of State, the President said: 'Condi's true ambition is beyond my power to grant. She would really like to be commissioner of the National Football League.'
I'd like to welcome you here to the Department of State's Celebration of African American History Month. I want to welcome especially the Members of the African Diplomatic Corps, the Members of Congress who are here, Educational and Cultural Exchange Program participants, the students from Miner Elementary School (applause), members of the various African American associations that are here, Department of State employees -- in particular, Blacks in Government and the Thursday Luncheon Group. I know, too, that the members of the African American Ambassadors are here, and other distinguished guests, especially my distinguished platform partners here, Ambassador Davis, Dr. LaFayette, Dr. Dorothy Height, one of my real heroines, and Coach Romeo Crennel, who is going to bring my Cleveland Browns back. (Laughter.)
