Yes, sadly they do.

Makes you wonder what we have become that we actually read something like this.

Good news. They are not out of the woods, but they are receiving the best care possible. From the best people in the world. The United States military.

Very true. The teams over there have a better survival rate than trauma centers at home. Every War brings about changes in trauma treatment that improve survival rates.

They both deserve respect for going into harm's way. They certainly get mine.

It was a part of marketing ploy for post-Jennings ABC news.

To me he is just another liberal journalist who is impeding our troops and Nations progress with the war on terror Well, learn how to make a possessive noun and I might start taking your opinion on matters geopolitical seriously. Toodles.

It's the absolute statements I take issue with. Of course journalists and reporters have biases, but they are not all the same. I believe the great majority of them just want to just get a story. When I hear someone say, "The MSM," I think the same thing. There is no way the folks at Westinghouse, GE, Disney, FOX, AP, Bloomberg, UPI, Reuters, NYT, WP, Time, USA Today, and their subsidiaries are going to agree on what to feed to the consumer.

Thank you for the info. I also believe The Greatest Generation would never tolerate such treason by the press. I don't know what happened to our generation?

That's an interesting thing I'd never thought of. I guess that necessity is the mother of invention, and there is never greater necessity for trauma treatment than in war.

And the "marketing" meeting was held in the book depository. Or was it on the grassy knoll?

ABC's marketing gimmick was designed to send Woodruff to Iraq at the last minute to bash our President's SOTU speech on Tuesday.

And you need to learn how to format properly.

Concerning the hierarchy of civilized discourse, I would say that the ability to use the genitive case is a much higher priority than facility with HTML; however, your point is taken. How's this?

Ten years ago, the fatal casualty rates were much higher. I do not remember the exact percentage. The American media did report on how the forward deployment of trauma centers has increased survival rates significantly. We do have more survival now, than in ANY war. Ever.

the blonde soldier who was captured in the early days of the war.

Jessica Lynch.

Speaking of her, I saw this headline.

Ga. unit that rescued Jessica Lynch honored
