Cindy Sheehan to Sen. Feinstein: Filibuster Alito or Else!

Sheehan released a statement in which she warned Sen. Feinstein that if she did not filibuster Alito, Sheehan would run against Feinstein in the upcoming senate election.

Many Washington observers wondered what had caused Feinstein to change her mind on the filibuster, but now the conventional wisdom is that Feinstein does not wish to lose her base -- the ultra-left in California. While Sheehan wouldn't be expected to win the election, she would siphon off the ultra-liberal vote allowing a Republican challenger a shot at capturing the senate seat.

It may be a really tough choice for far left leaning, Democrat loonies in California's upcoming U.S. Senatorial primary election this November - Cindy Sheehan or Dianne Feinstein. Now that's what I call a real loose, loose decision making process. As for me, I'm voting Republican in the main event, even if it's only the dog catcher that eventually winds up running against the official Dummyrat candidate for the U.S. Senate, and I would have the peace of mind knowing I voted for the best qualified candidate.

Feinstein flipped flopped on the filibuster issue in order to pander to the moonbats. It wouldn't surprise me if Sheehan runs against Feinstein anyway. Cindy just loves the spotlight.
