Debate continues in the Senate today on the nomination of Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court. At present no time has been announced for a final vote. Stop by and discuss.
Maybe he would have voted for Alito, if Samuel had a sex change operation.
That would be real diversity.
ROFL! Oprah fan, huh?
This guys voice keeps cracking...
bet he's hating life (and his place in the line-up) right about now. HA-HA !
WOnder if any will follow Byrd's lead?
good grief. he is all but saying he wants congress to have more power than the Pres or SC.
Salazar wants a woman on the court, but only if she's a masculine feminist.
SLAP!
Feel better ;0)
Just wait until he gets to appoint a THIRD!
John Paul Stevens is 86 after all, I highly doubt he's gonna be on the SCOTUS for more than another year.
Of course. Normally the cloture vote is not necessary if there is a unanimous consent of the senators to proceed to the vote. If there is no consent then the cloture vote is necessary.
That's for sure. It just kills me that he's from my state. And our wonderful conservative senator, Wayne Allard, just barely won over democratic challengers in both of his elections. Conservatives are on tiptoe in Colorado and the water level's over our chins...
My sister before the 2000 election told me she was voting for Gore because GWB would not support the Kyoto Treaty.
I asked her to tell me specifically what the Kyoto Treaty was about.
She just stared at me, blank faced and could not answer.
Ashamed of family too sometimes...
I thought the Senate was unaware there is anything going on outside of abortion or no abortion or NSA Spying or Valerie Plame??
Me too!!!
How would he slam her?
Oh, yeah....he would memorize the talking points that Soros and gang give him...
I am really praying that if Bush gets another pick...that he does pick JRB!!!
if Bush gets a third pick, it might be her (Consuelo Callahan):

let's see what Salazar does with that.
Thank God Salazar is finishing up. Maybe it's because he's Spanish, but he talks like a robot.
Peach, Frist is weak, weak, weak. He really should not be majority leader in the Senate... nice man, probably has great bedside manner, but not a strong enough backbone to deal with Harry Reid and company.
LOL... Believable though...
