Well yes, and I agree with you on Lieberman. But McCain having an 83 ACU rating in itself doesn't present the whole picture. Judas had a 99 out of 100 Jesus rating...

Finally turned down Rush and am locked in to the fun and games in the Senate.

There is little need for Joe to fall on the sword on this one. The Alito nomination can make it through without him.

No, he's builing up to the "it is after much soul searching, I must vote no." It gives him more credibility.
It's the Laura Ingraham's "BUT MONKEY".
I would be totally shocked if he voted yes.
