Are you ready for some football? My predictions:
Denver 23/Pittsburgh 13, Seattle 24/Carolina 17
Congradulations SC! Ya'll deserved it. Now go kick Pittsburgh's butt. If memory serves me correctly, the Seahawks are the only team in league history that has played in both the AFC and NFC championship games in the Super Bowl era. They lost to the Raiders in the AFC championship game. But they just beat Carolina in the NFC championship game.
would you believe that the cowboys use to have a hard time selling out there games even during all those winning seasons? i'll never forget seeing all those ads for remaining tickets that had to be sold or the blackout rule would take effect. usually the local tv station would buy the remaining tickets so that they could show the game. after dallas won super bowl 12 there first game of the next season was a mnf game against the baltimore colts. the game didn't sell out and i had to listen to it on the radio.
I think it has the potential to be a heck of a game.
Who are you rooting for?
Goes to show you how old I am ...
I remember when the saying, if you lost PLAYOFF games, was "We will be home for Christmas"....now, the Super Bowl is in February!!!
Dang....Feb. is for pitchers and catchers to spring training!!
is Matt gay?
LOL! I know about the Premier League and the lesser ones, but it doesn't really translate well into American football because arena football is a joke and the NCAA would have "issues" with USC and Texas going pro while the Texans and Saints came down to their deserved level.
BTW...SC....I want to thank you for sending your rain down to we Texans....it has been raining all day...and it is SO needed....
I can see that. After about a year navigating around, though, Pittsburgh is much less of a puzzle.
perhaps. these past few super bowls have really been very good, close and competitive, no blowouts.
Neither. I don't care who wins.
They should make the rule...that which ever conference wins the PRO BOWL....gets Home field advantage in the Super Bowl...
ROFLMAO!!!
Hassleback is NOT gay. I think you are thinking of Hasselhoff, or the Carolina Panthers Defense...
Yup. We had quite a string of blowouts for a while.
I am so excited for all of you guys...
I can see it now, paulat...an ALL NIGHT LIVE THREAD...to celebrate a Seahawks Super Bowl win!!
Absolutelty! Thank you!
Hasselbeck?!
Needless to say, the city is run by liberal thugs who have nothing but contempt for good manners, good sportsmanship, and fair elections among other niceties. You should see the leers on their faces when they trample your Christmas celebrations in the name of political correctness. Really, these are the most mean-spirited people on the planet.
no, no...I do believe I detected a bit of a lithp....
LOL!
just sayin'...it was kinda cute....but worth noting...
Seattle 23...Pitts. 17
