Are you ready for some football? My predictions:
Denver 23/Pittsburgh 13, Seattle 24/Carolina 17
Anyone want this guy back?
Amen. So is Eli. I just think they are one heckuva good, old fashioned, loving family. Period.
"Did Seattle beat them twice during the regular season that year?"
To be honest, I have no idea. I think that's one of the main differences between men and women when it comes to sports. Men seem to be able to remember every event who did what and what the score was but I don't, especially that long ago. I'm just super happy our 20+ years of drought wrt being in playoff games is over and I'm looking forward to our guys busting some Panters Clymers BIG TIME today.
yeah, the brown was an especially nice touch... RME!
T M I
What was the under for this game?
You got any pit bull genes in ya?
P.S. How's your cold/flu thing going? Any better?
Remember, we played over half the year with Stephen Davis at running back. Bruising between the tackles kind of stuff. Goings is the perfect back up for that style. That's why DeShaun Foster struggled earlier. They literally had to change the running game to suit his style.
I think I remember reading that somewhere.
Here's some advice...cover #89 for the Panthers and don't turn the ball over!
Steelers Rock!!! Almost over for the Broncos.
C'mon Jake....throw that last INT just for good measure! :)
It's only fitting.
Hey!
I should probly go out and start my truck and let it run for awhile, about the time we think the weather's gettin nice, we'll get 8 inches of snow, and I don't want to fight just to get down the hill to Albertsons!
I know I now...there are plenty where I live. It's just when the name is neutral (unlike yours), my default assumes it's a male. It will happen no more...
Don't know.
His Dad bought the team in 1933!
It's not a matter of being based on a breakaway run threat, it's a matter of HAVING a breakaway run threat. In order to run more than 20 yards a guy needs to break tackles, breaking tackles is a handy skill even for short yards, a guy that's never gone longer than 17 yards doesn't break tackles, hence Goings ain't that good. THere's a reason he's #3 on the depth chart.
Yeah Davis knew how to break tackles. Goings is a good BACKUP for that style, problem is today he's the FEATURE back, and he's just not that guy.
