Everybody knows that when U.S. Sen. Barack Obama walks, lilacs bloom from his every footstep, even in parking lots.
He can cross the Potomac without bridge or boat. When his fellow Democrats became hungry, he feeds them by the thousands with two perch and a bag of Cheetos. And what about that nice Shiraz flowing from the Senate water cooler?
According to his glowing media, there is nothing he can't do. And when he saved Sen. Hillary Clinton from her own big mouth--she told a black audience that Congress was a "plantation, and you know what I'm talking about"--I became a believer too.
But now he's trying to pull off a real miracle.
Obama, the Chicago Democrat, is the lead public thwacker of Republicans on the corruption issue involving self-admitted crooked Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Obama was scheduled for more public thwacking on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday. But that's not the miracle.
The miracle is that he's trying to do this and push ethics legislation, while avoiding mention of the corruption among Democrats in Illinois.
Federal investigations are crawling through the administrations of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and Gov. Rod Blagojevich while Obama skips the mess back home.

You have no idea what he is for. He has given numerous speeches that don't really say anything. He has never really worked on anything. He has never taken a side accept for a side against evil, or crime, or poverty. He is like a Souter. He is not even a Chicagoan. He teaches at the University of Chicago but he was not from Chicago.
The only Democrat who will be asked about his receipt of Abramoff money will be Lieberman because he is most supportive of the President and the WOT. Because of his stand, they will be looking to taint Joe in return.
And so what will that do, since 99.99% of blacks would have voted for the WITCH anyway?

This reinforces the point I was making that Obama is a trap being prepared for us by the extreme far left of the Democratic Party, and that he is dangerous because less careful and discerning voters are not going to wake up to the threat until they have rolled him into the White House.

Obama will never be on the ticket. He's a golden boy and Hillary is a loser in the making. When she speaks, she loses. He will never be near the disaster.

I don't know why you say that, Obama would bring only Black votes to Hillary, which she already has in her pocket. She needs a Black running mate like a hole in her head. Wake up, Black is passe, it's the Hispanics, Asians and other minorities that is where the action is. Get real, the current "Black" leadership group is strctly "Hate America" and is going nowhere politically. The majority of Black folks better wise up and dump their leadership and the Democrat Party that has kept them chained to the bottom of the economic and apportunity totem pole!!! Assimilation is the name of the game, and until that happens Blacks are going to remain begged at the bottom of the food chain!!!

Hillary is a loser unless she can turn a red state or two to the dark blue side. While Obama appears to be a press fav and a very attractive candidate, Illinois and 90% black support are already in the Hillary column. Her majesty is morelikely to turn to a Midwest governor (e.g. Tom Vilsack, Evan Bayh)to get the needed electoral margin. She might also turn to Wes Clark to shore up the natural concern of a woman president fighting the war on terror. I believe Obama's turn will come farther down the road. But, in politics, one can never predict with certainty. If I were in the anyone-but-Hillary camp, I would be floating the concept of Hillary as the butch-lesbian enabler of Billy Boy, reminding the DIM power brokers of all the Clinton scandals. On the GOP side, I'm praying for a Hillary candidacy...they'll bury her...
