An audio recording appeared today on a radical Islamist Web site, featuring what appeared to be Osama bin Laden's top deputy, Ayman al Zawahari, discussing the writings of a Muslim poet.
The tape surfaced a week after a U.S. airstrike in Pakistan that killed a top al Qaeda bomb maker and chemical weapons expert, but the speaker does not mention the incident. Analysts say that's potentially revealing because it calls into question Al Qaeda's ability to respond quickly in its propaganda war.
The tape appears to be an old recording, as it refers to the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan in October 2001, and moarns members of al Qaeda who were killed during that operation.

"If you communications were disrupted, yet wanted to get the "code words" out, what would be the best way to do it?
Release a tape that makes no sense to anyone, other then the one waiting to recieve the message."
Bull. You are overinterpreting this. Geez, Bin Laden's tape is a code. Zawahiri's poetry reading is code. Everything is code. Don't believe this for a minute. The Bin Laden tape (which I don't believe is Bin Laden for a minute) comes out because Zawahiri is dead. The Zawahiri audio tape (note, no visuals) that is most likely 2 years old, comes out because the terrorists wants the public to believe we didn't get Zawahiri. We did. He's dead. It's no more complicated than that.
All this sending code in these tapes smacks too much of the types that are conspiracy theorists also. Sometimes, just sometimes, it might be something very simple, like trying to prove to the world that your guy isn't deader than a doornail, when in reality he is. Show me a video with current commentary in it of Zawahiri talking about how na, na, na, na, na, you didn't get me. What makes me think no such video tape will show up?
Remember there IS no music in Ultra Orthodox Semitic culture. Language is magic and "music", including "chanting" is moreso.
This means one of three things :
An ode to the boss (IMO it IS one; Binny, Zawahiri or both) a call to kill (jihad) or both. I vote both.
I question the timing and age of either tape, Binny's or Zawahiri's not DO NOT DISCOUNT the attack plan mentioned. THAT part's real. The rest is BS for the bomb fodder.
Witches gather at black masses Bodies burning in red ashes On the hill the church in ruin. Is the scene of evil doings It's a place for all black sinners Watch them eating dead rats' inners. I guess it's the same, whereever you may go Oh lord yeah Carry banners which denounce the lord See me rocking in my grave See them anoint my head with dead rat's blood See them stick the stake through me Oh Don't hold me back cause I just gotta go (Sat'n/They) got a hold of my soul now Lords got my brain instinct with blood obscene Look in my eyes I'm there enough Yeah On the scene a priest appears Sinners falling at his knees Satan sends out funeral pyre Casts the priest into the fire It's the place for all bad sinners. Watch them eating dead rats' inners I guess it's the same, whereever you may go Oh lord yeah
A bottle of perfume that Willie sent
Was highly displeasing to Millicent;
Her thanks were so cold,
That they quarelled, I'm told,
Over that silly scent Willie sent Millicent.
US agents based in Afghanistan had also made reconnaissance raids into South and North Waziristan, and all the way up to Bajur and the northern areas, the official said.
Four months later the US made its most spectacular cross-border incursion yet with its air strike on Damadola village. If they are present in this area of the air strike they would be nervous, Yousfzai said. They would be concerned that action had started in Bajaur after South and North Waziristan. They must have moved to some other area. Pakistan lodged a formal protest after 18 civilians were reportedly killed in the air strike, highlighting the continual danger that Washingtons war on terror might alienate its closest allies even as bin Laden remains on the run. afp
Pakistani intelligence WAS part of the reason the attack took place where it did. Nothing can change that. Even the moonbats know we are only there with Pakistan's cooperation and blessing.
What the...
Be cool. It was just an attempt at satirical poetic verse; some of them have been doing that after the taped voice of Zawahiri came out today reading bad poetry. LOL
Bedtimes stories for jihadis to prepare them for their dirt nap?
Are we terrorized yet?
I guess when this is all over, we will find out won't we.
I got some " Poetry" for him.
Hymn for the Shahid
Oh brave warriors of Islam! You who kidnap and slaughter innocent women, your heroic deeds bring honor to your faith.
Noble believers! You who send children to their deaths in order to kill the old and infirm kafir, your heroism is an shining example to the world.
Certainly the Prophet (Peace of the grave be upon him) would have you at his right hand as you murder the children
in his name.
The Umma looks to you to deliver the promised one, he who
will wipe the stain of Mohammed from the garment of
Islam.
Behold, he cometh from the land of the lone star.
His stature is not mighty but he casts a long shadow.
With your jihad, you have called him forth
to exact justice upon you!
Your cities will tumble into dust,
your skin will fall from your bones,
and a terrible sickness will be upon you.
Until you repent your pride, and deliver the evil do-ers
into eternal damnnation, your punishment will increase.
Oh believers, your hubris calls divine retribution
down upon you, for you have misunderestimated
the wrath of the chosen one.
I saw Osama in Afghanistan,
with the pink, and blue and yellow houses
in Kabul where he was a mountain flower.
And he put the flower behind his ear as the Afghani
girls do, and yes, yes to say yes.....

FOTFLOL!
Not that it matters, but just FYI, my little bit of poetry is based on "Howl" by Allen Ginsburg. I changed only about 10 words.
