George Galloway plumbed new depths when he pretended to be a cat as part of a task set for him during his appearance on the television show Celebrity Big Brother.

The Repect Party MP, who last year lambasted the United States Senate over the war in Iraq, crouched on all fours, purring and licking imaginary milk from the hands of the actress Rula Lenska.

Being ousted from Parliament must have dealt this Brit a mental blow. He came to the US and testified before our Senate that he was NOT GUILTY of taking bribes, money laundering, etc. But he was later found to have blatantly lied at the time. Can you imagine Tom DeLay, Tom Daschle, or Newt Gingrich performing like a trained animal on TV? Clinton, yes...but he's the only one that comes to mind.
