Jonathan Turley should mark how well his move left has helped his reputation. The NARAL gal just called him"the guy from USA Today."

So what we have here on CSPAN is the "after-math" hearing of the loonie left? Did CSPAN cover any of the pro-Alito demonstrations? I did see pictures here on FR yesterday, as I remember a sign that said "I belong to Sam's Club"

The questioner is from NOW.

I figured Nelson wouldn't support the filibuster, he's on record as saying so, but it's nice to know that Ms. Snowe isn't going to go down that road.
I think they've heard enough anger outside the Beltway. They probably got an earful after Mrs. Alito left the room crying.

This guy says the calls are going 55 to 60% against Alito to the senators?
we've got some calling to do.
To: A Citizen Reporter
The libs have opened their phone banks. They are so so deluded.
To: Howlin
Well duh! Liberals calling liberal senators are only 55-60 percent against Alito. This should be telling someone something.

I have long resented the homosexuals' hijacking of the word "gay" which used to mean happy and carefree. I just reject their coopting. I call them homos, and use the word "gay" in the old sense. I do so in ordinary conversation. It rattles folks, but hey! It's free!
To: A Citizen Reporter
No, they did not.
And, yes, this is The Short Bus Club.

There won't be a filabuster...and the red state Dems will vote to confirm..but happily, the one senator who will get killed by this vote will be Chaffee.....if he votes against Alito, he will lose the primary..

Darn, must have screwed up trying to play catchup as over 1,100 posts behind when I got home.
Apologies wherever warranted and needed.

I think that's what HRC is counting on.
She has a nuisance primary opponent this year-an "anti-war" candidate who used to be head of the writer's guild-but realizes that no credible challenger on the left can really defeat her.
Her only real vulnerability is her Kerry-like position on the Iraq War, but I think she can finesse that issue a lot better than Kerry, who's an inept politician.
