Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

I called him once when he accused the President of "cooking up" the war in Texas. (just looked it up in the Capital Hill directory on the internet)
His staff is very combative, it was fun, I bi*ched him out, but don't let up, don't swear, they will eventually hang up because they cannot defend the indefensible.

What a stupid question. If there is an urgent need to use military force against Iran, of course the President will use it.
"If Iran launched an ICBM against the US, do you think the President needs to get Congress' approval before taking military action against it?"
At the end, the question of how far the President can go in these matters is a political question, settled after the fact. The President knows that, and so does Biden. Asking a SCOTUS nominee about this is assinine and academic.
